(* nb comment is using my sons UA-cam account. ). Really interesting video Katie. As I was working under my eyes across upper cheek bone, I felt a real release in my stomach and suddenly took a deep and satisfying lower abdomen breath in and out. Wow how powerful is this.

I started using tallow on my skin about 6 months ago and what a game changer. Just started gua sha about a month ago and so far I love the way it feels. I do use a warm stone (per suggested by many therapists I watch) and do it every night before bed (sometimes in the morning too!). If anything I just love to do it but I am hoping it does more than just feel good. I am 53 and most people are shocked when I tell them my age but every little bit we do that can help (and is safe and non invasive) I am ALL in! 🙂 Have to say I can feel a lot of draining since beginning this practice. Not a doubt it is doing something powerfully. Definitely going to use these techniques!!! Thank you!

I completley agree! I also do guasha professionaly, and it' s so sad, that most women do not even know how gourgous the results of guasha are, if you do traditional chinese guasha for you're face regulary. I do guasha on my face every 2 to 3 days, for about an hour or sometimes even a bit longer. The key is that you have to know, how it must be done professionaly. If you only roll a jade roller or a jade stone for two minutes over you're face, like a lot of women do, it will have zero effects. I personally think, that knowing how to practice facial guasha, is like having found the fontain of youth!

Why are you pulling and tugging on your skin. In all my research on facial Gua sha everyone teaches to use the stone as flat as possible and to not pull and stretch the skin.

I am loving all your tips and for my birthday I’m hoping to get a jade I have a very deep set line on my forehead and really will do what I can to help it. I think your brilliant Katie!

Everybody else I’ve watched says we shouldn’t hold gua sha at a 90 degree angle… it should lie almost flat against the skin.

When you feel lumps under the skin is the goal to smooth them?
I have noticed some lumps smooth especially the chin and the labial folds in one season of massage I hope lthat’s good!

Intriguing. I have redness already, on my cheeks especially and if my skin gets irritated it goes super red and feels hot so I'm intrigued but not sure I'd go this far. Is this your skin routine now or do you use actives/acids/retinol and if yes how do you incorporate into gua sha routine. I've just ordered tools so will be watching all the videos these next few weeks.

I’m wondering the same. How to implement it into my skincare routine. I use a micro current device in the mornings and Retrides cream at night.

This is new for me. I would like to use that. What oils do you reccomend or just spray water instead? Is it good to get rid of the tiny bumps under the eyes?
