This is hugely relatable. As a clinical hypnotherapist it sound like we should be complementing each other!

This is all new to me,but its all very interesting. For the larger body areas do you recommend using gua sha tool which looks like a comb or would any of the other shaped tools work just as well? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you

Where do you buy the comb from?

Hello. I have lipedema. I have always wondered if there is a connection between that condition and trauma. I have had a good deal of that. Doctors are still trying to figure out why some women manifest lipedema either at puberty (around 11 yrs old for me), or after childbirth or menopause. I believe these occurrences do indeed bring a form of trauma to the body. I am hopeful that combing and tapping will help. Thank you for the information.

In Chinese medicine we hold emotions we don’t want to deal with in empty spaces in the body. Katie talks a lot more about this in her grief masterclass. In Chinese medicine lipoedema is to do with the spleen and also the kidney Qi, so you could also download her free guides on these organs from www.katiebrindle.com

Do you do the combing in the shower then when finished do the stick when dry, thanks Anne?

Yes and no. You comb in the shower because you need water to help slide the tool properly but you can also do it with some body oil (you can't comb over bare skin). You can tap before or after the shower, this is just an example of how you can do the routine. You can use the body tapper all day long, there's not a particular moment of the day you should use it.

Can you use a regular gua sha tool for the body? I have rose quartz and stainless steel at home.
