So I run a 2017 q50 3.0t. Jb4 fuel wires and EWG downpipes 2.5 all the way back . I am also running map 6 custom boost . I make over 430 hp and 506 torque on pump 93. I know tune would open more but for a daily it's fast.
Yes. I leaned out in the top end but had not knock or detonation. Ran 93 and if I knew I was going to play I would add two bottles of booster to a half tank. I never added the e85 system. My engine had a factory defect and I got a new engine and turbos. That set up only has 600 miles on it. I sold the JB4 and not sure if I'll go full send and get it programed and add the E system or not. It's not my only car so I'm taking it easy on it till warranty is up on the new engine.
Great info Boost, AMS also just announced their upgraded intercoolers will be out soon. I'd imagine they help on cars with upgraded turbos get a HP increase as well.
The VQ37 platform was notoriously known having for head lift issues right around 800hp. I wonder if the VR30 could crack 1000hp with upgraded internals and head studs without lifting the heads 🤔
A2A intercool is good but if you think about it 1000hp cars all run chillers(ice tank) A2W kits due to being more efficient. Can’t wait to see what numbers will Bonnie and Clyde will achieve with upgraded turbos G series with A2A kit.
i think they're getting dropped from market. nobody else is talking about it or runnig them and theres no numbers anywhere on actual real time useage numbers or dyno numbers. spoke with Bonnie and Clyde about what they recommend, they said A2A is recommended or to run a chiller if i wanna go high HP. and said the drop bear may be getting dropped from the market.
Yes. Not sure about the Race Chip but I got the JB4 specifically because it is one of the cheapest tuning options and it's easy to install/remove for when I have to take my Q50 to the dealership.

Dyno was 430 hp and 503 to. Map 6 ( sweep from 2000 rpm start @+2 then up to +9 around 4000 to 5000 then sweep down to +1

I love my 2020 q60 3.0t but man dose that transmission hold it back! Hopefully when the new z comes out there will be a manual swap for the q60!!!

We’ll upgraded turbos don’t really take well to just 93 alone so u probably will make around 500-550 but will probably have issues with the car…

I thought Fbo e85 gets more then 500whp , (full downpipes, 3”exhuast, upgraded fuel, intakes etc). Ive seen around 520-530whp.
Depends on tuner and dyno but yes a little over 500whp
