I’ve been driving a auto vehicle for 2 years now n I miss banging the gears. Seeing this helps me because in the future I plan to purchase my new 6 speed Nissan Z. So thank you for this info
This was long overdo for this engine it’s unfortunate the intake system side of things isn’t a direct fit for Qs but I’m sure it can be modified or retrofitted to fit 😅. If A2A wasn’t as good as people want it to be coyotes,B9s, audi 4.0ts,dazas, and even the dad of this car R35s…wouldn’t use it. Most of those cars are bigger displacement and still hot Vs ( naturally run hotter + bigger ) so idk why for a little 3.0 it wouldn’t be efficient. The brand rats swear A2W more ideal and just reality refutes that claim tbh if it actually were the better motors would use it, they just would. It’s lighter, more consistent, cost less, and more simple ( less coolant lines and pump throughout the engine bay ). Also, if one wants below ambient temps like an interchiller, simply get a intercooler spray ring w CO2 and boom..below ambient if it’s done right and applied right. Sucks only vpf taxing ahh sells one for the Q, I’m sure someone will retrofit this and throw it in the forums or fb groups lol.
The reason VPF has to tax is because it’s only one guy doing this kit for the Q50 And the only way to make this work on the Q50 you gotta either change the radiator support or take out headlights
@@BADMAN-SJif it were 3-4 more companies like the EU scene their price would drastically drop strictly cause it’s comp and most know that. They simply pulling a move out AMS book and taxing cause they’re the only ones doing something nobody else is imo. Also the piping looks plug and play besides the intercooler itself and the intake system. I don’t think it’s a full plug and play for Qs but I also don’t think it’ll be a hassle to retrofit. The intake system is only like that cause of the Z headlights and even then if you go to that extent I can almost guarantee you’d be in less fabricating intake piping and buying a tread stone intercooler versus buying vpf $4k kit.
If it never came for the Q, it would’ve never came for Z fr. Nice to see they actually reasonable priced versus the vpf kit, you can buy this and retrofit it for a Q and still probably be in less than what you’d spend on vpf’s($4k).
Not worth it IMO, unless you are building a 700+ WHP car. Even then, you can upgrade your intercoolers & get an FI interchiller as well, pick your poison! Auto Cross, I see this application working, Drag Racing not so much imo.
It’s for tracking the car and for reliability. It’s a really big difference over w2a intercoolers with upgraded waterpumps, and upgraded heat exchanger. It brings consistency as the charge temps stay at a constant 110 degrees,
14:01 “it’s not Q1 motorsports it’s z1 motorsports” 😂😂😂😂 all love goes to the Z

Jon did 10 pulls with my A2A Q50 and got the same results. I think the last pull lost 3 whp!

Could it the q50 ?
