I would describe them as W shaped more than V shaped. I have a lot of “audiophile” headphones, and I find these fun, comfortable and I just love them. Really impressed
So I've just replaced my M4s for the M5s and the change is unbelievably good. Even more detailed than before and LOUDER which I'm really pleased about. If you don't notice the difference you may have wax build up in your ear canals. They're awesome!
But how are they for phone calls? For example Beats are fine for music but they aren’t suitable for phone calls, people can’t hear you. Gore are the Sonys?
My xm4 got less than a year use before they had the battery issue looking to get these but I'm concerned about that issue with these ones. Loved the xm4 though
We think the WF-1000XM5 improves on sound quality and noise cancellation in comparison to the WF-1000XM4, but everyone hears differently. At the end of the day, it's best to have what you think sounds best! 🙂
@@zaheerkader7426 is the bass really that inferior? I listen to mostly trance and techno music and I loved the Sony WfXM4 sound! Up until the batteries died.
I am an iPhone user and I usually use these or the Bose QC2s . I have tried AirPods and air pods pro 2 but the sound and anc although good doesn’t hold a candle to Bose and Sony at least in my use .

Did Sony fix the audio lagging video problem that they’ve had with their earlier versions??

What about the potential battery issues that affected the XM-4s? Is the problem solved now or should I worry, were I to buy them?

I had the XM4's and I went to upgrade to the XM5 and I thought they sounded worse.

got both .. technics have a better sound stage.. sonys have better noise cancelling, bass, call clarity and battery life
