The president has 2 separate roles- one is chief executive (of the CORPORATION) and the other is Commander in Chief. The military will normally accept the president as CIC, but there are occasions that they might not, for example, if they felt that the country was under some kind of attack, be it overt or covert, and the president was possibly compromised to one degree or another.
One thing Trump did early on was to write an executive order on Foreign Interference In US Elections- in that order it required that all 17 intel agencies submit a report one month after the election to assess whether there had been foreign interference that affected the outcome of the election. The report came back a month late. At that point, only a few days away from swearing in of Joe B there was not time to do a full investigation. There are specific requirements and procedures that have to be followed in the event that there is a possible attack, given it's not an imminent threat that needs attention immediately- in this case there were 2 possible attacks that happened- ONE was a possible bio attack in the form of covid, and the other was a possible electoral attack on our elections. At that time, the military claimed on national TV that there would be a "Smooth transition into military power". That's when all the fences and barricades went up in DC federal city.
Since that time, the military have only cooperated with Biden to a certain extent. They have not let him in on the inner circle, or given him the power to order nukes to be launched. We are in a situation where we have 2 competing 'shadow governments. One represents the CORPORATION US inc. and it's subsidiaries, and the other represents an alliance of High placed military in Special Forces and Space force and the few intel agencies that have not been corrupted.
This guy spoke for how long? He didn't give any facts or say anything except for a few generalized and sweeping statements. Did he mention the last minute shadow government exec order that Trump signed called Governance and Integration of Federal Mission Resilience? Did that come up in his 'book'?
Yr beyond help
None of this is true, at all. The role of "Chief Executive" is chief administrator and representative of the United States and EVERY President has had this role. The role of "Commander in Chief" has also been every President since George Washington as the main civilian leader of the US. Something that almost no one understands is the military is NOT bound to follow any order from the President in either role as our oaths and loyalty is NOT to the President but the Constitution. The military has NO (legal or otherwise) power to 'govern' the United States. A declaration of Martial Law simply removes some of the restrictions on operating within the US. The President as both CE and CIC is still in charge as is Congress and the majority of US laws still apply. Biden is the PRESIDENT in all aspects and the military is fully behind him and Trump has literally NO power in the current time.

@@guacamolekid3899 Yep, the Sitting President is ALWAYS CiC, no exceptions and no provisions in the Constitution or anywhere else for things to operate any other way. The military literally has no power in government, period. Trump lost the election and also lost all access and privileges to any Presidential "power". He's an "ex-President" period. The military has no obligation nor legal ability to listen to anything he says. The fun part here is as defenders of the Constitution the military defied Trump on multiple occasions, and refused orders he gave as CiC.
