- In this video I install a JBL BassPro 12” powered subwoofer. www.amazon.com/dp/B0854N47QN?... I got it on sale for $218 so watch for those sales. I also used this installation kit from Boss Audio for $18 www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00... and I went with this metal grill to keep the speaker safe ($16) www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07...
Thanks for watching!
How can you not subscribe just from the intro
Awesome video! they don't tell you in the instructions you can tie the one speaker wire together and only tap into one speaker. saved me some time!!!
so didnt have to connect it to the radio?
I have it in my challenger too. Sounds good. One important thing don't hook up to the battery. Use fuse tap and get power from rear fuse box that goes to 12V outlet in the front. So that it turns off with the ignition. Just a safety tip
8m also wanting more sound. Any reason why you didn't hook up the passenger side speaker also? Trying to learn man, thanx. Or, would that involve using TWO jbls? Idk?
That’s for the tutorial! Where did you find the t-taps? All ive been able to find were 16-14
Great vid I’m stuck on where you plugged in the positive wire and connected the blue boss thing it’s my first time doing this, also I had to order tap connectors
What did you use for the remote turn on?
Did you plug the speaker back in on your rear deck?
No line out converter? Im confused.
Been trying to learn how to do this and this the only video that made it look doable
YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE TO HELP ME GET MY POWERED SUB SET UP. TY!
First time seeing this channel, love the personality in the beginning lol and found the vid very useful. Thumbs up man
Thanks for the vid, so much easy and simple for a good upgrade i will be getting this
Thanks I used this exact method in my 2020 rt, I used a screw where the seats fold down for my ground but other than that I followed this to a tee.
This video makes me wish the battery on my car was in the trunk too!! That seems like it'll be the hardest part for my installation
Well I seriously considered doing this myself..until last minute snap shots…pretty certain I won’t bend that way and if I tried may end up stuck 😅! Great tutorial and I’m subbing
Love the intro lol
Dope video, love Mopar stuff. I found one used on the FMP to go in my Chrysler Pacifica minivan. Brought it to a local stereo shop, and they installed, ran the remote to the front and added a used speaker cover as my kids/Dogs would definitely destroy that speaker with all their junk. Don't get why it didn't come with a cover option? All in for $270 with installation and I'm definitely not mad at the extra base.
Thank you for the video. Now How did you tune the amp on the sub. That part is killing me. I did the wiring and everything but my base is a little off.
