Therapist: Short haired Scott LePage doesn't exist, he can't hurt you
Short haired Scott LePage:
He looks like someone that would be part of Mr. Beast’s crew when he has short hair lol.
That bass... Bass players are definitely an underappreciated breed... Nice Work Polyphia
The bass is the soul of every band
As Nik nocturnal would say…..”good job existing, bass player”
My thoughts exactly. I was vibing out to the drums and the bass for nearly the entire song 🤌🏻
Not true. Bass is very important.
Real recognizes real
These guys can shred, but the bassist is the one that's really fucking impressive. Did anyone else see how fast he tied up that man bun between notes?
Julian Boyce LOOOOOOL!
Hahaha
Lol
😂
Hahahaha great call mate great call
I love how I can distinctly hear every instrucment being played. Nobody plays over anyone else and you guys are so harmonious
sounds exactly the same when they play live.. they have really got it figured out. well, at least when i saw them play live.. and that was like 5 years ago at this point so im sure they have only progressed
@@crhollifield2012 From what I've heard they're much better than a few years ago, so probably godlike 👀
@@keepyoursins oh for sure. The live experience is very important to Tim. He has increasingly gotten into sound and set design. really pushing the limits of what you can do with sound and the best environments for that sound
Really appreciate how the guitars stepped back at the beginning to let Clay and his bass play an awesome lick !
So true!
Absolutely!
clay and clay name a more iconic duo
the bass in the beginning is amazing
+Cetra Strife Thanks! We offer them in 4,5 and 6 string www.carvinguitars.com/customshop/vanquish_basses
+Kiesel Guitars Carvin Guitars hahahha
+Kiesel Guitars Carvin Guitars lov u
that was fuckin amazing.
My son was the one who introduced me to Polyphia! Thanks, son! Nowadays, he's the one who's playing the guitar! We have the same taste in music!
My Daughter now 29 took me to see Polyphia 10 yrs ago in NOLA straight hooked.
Sounds like you raised some rad kids.
@@jsan2548 it's give and take for us, as a matter of fact. I introduced him to Slayer, Satriani and many more. He introduced me to Polyphia, Animals as Leaders and more. 🤗
man, this song gives me chills. at the crescendo as it builds and into that insane solo at the end of the song, i feel like i can do anything.
video is for sure better than euphoria this time around
Nature > Hotchick
Why not both? ayy
+Ninjanomikz Dont be a sexist dick
+Black Kids BRING BACK THE WOMEN BECAUSE I CANNOT HAVE SEX WITH NATURE HUURRR HURRRR
+GetTheJojDone But the hot chick tho...... D:
My 3 year old daughter insists this is played on repeat! I think she's going to be alright.
Oh Rebecca
she still listen to polyphia?
That's rad. My 10mo baby girl was hyped as hell when this was on in the car so I'm hoping the same.
@@joshcommisso she does, but also Eiffel 65. So not sure now 😅
@@Japanknees have patience. She’ll appreciate the skill when she’s older.
I'm not musician. 60 y.old. More than 40 years listening diferent kind of music. But: this composicion have start, middle and finish. Every part is natural, logical and absolutly well done! Beatiful! Bravo! 👏👏👏👏👏
R.I.P singers
Holy bass grooves Batman!!
+Aaron Gerwing Vanquish and Clay make a good team www.carvinguitars.com/customshop/vanquish_basses
Man that bass guitar is sounding sick
+TaylorTheLeprechaun sure does :) www.carvinguitars.com/customshop/vanquish_basses
+Kiesel Guitars Tryin to save up for the Mckinny 7 string right now! San Diego native love your instruments, can't wait to have something of such craftsmanship from my birthplace no less!
It looks a lot like mine but mine is a 4 string and probably wasn't half the price of his
please bring back the old polyphia
Man, the way Scott Lepage plays looks so effortless. His hands seem to barely move but what comes out is so good.
Tim and Scott might be some of the best guitarists of the alternative scene. Without a doubt some of the most creative
so refreshing to hear this kind of music ,just so new and awsome. I love that they don't have lyrics. Cause you can interpret whAtever you want the song to mean. it's just pure magic. these guys should be crazy famous
Their drummer is easily the most underrated one in this song. There are so many details in this track that make it so great and no one probably notices them....great job man!!!
Their old drummer Brandon really made polyphia, too bad they fired him
So I’m a 62 year old male and a sucker for tight musicians.........you guys kill it. The Clays are so synchronized
I’m pretty sure Brandon played drums on this album
slap that bass like it owes you money!
The bass and drums from 2:35 to about 3:30 are perfection. Those long notes while guitars go nuts is just so good.
This is the happiest metal I've ever heard, I like it.
Lmao who said it was metal? 2 years later, does this sound like metal to you?
metal? where?
Ever heard of Neil Zaza or Joe Satriani? Or Eric Johnson?
Shhhhh, leave Joshua be.
It's more like JRock
My love for polyphia is increasing day by day (since 2017)
My god this is, imo, the best song they've released BY FAR
You're smokin crack
+Isaac Vidrine Pretty sure.
Isaac Vidrine I just absolutely love the feel of this. Hence, why I put imo in there (in my opinion)
+Connor Beaumont imo, you're smoking crack lol. Any track from muse is better than what I've heard from the new album, granted that's only two songs but still. Hourglass trumps all.
This is a beautiful song for sure..
I'm enjoying Clay's man bun continuity errors at 2:34
+Mark Walters I also noticed that, don't think of it as an "error" though, looked cool to me.
+Mark Walters It's not an error, they all have sweaters on now (+sunglasses off) and it's getting dark and cold - I see it as a kind of contrast
+Mark Walters Hahah yasss
lol
+Mark Walters Not "errors", just simply MAGIC TRICKS ;)
It's always fun to watch Clay play, he always looks like he's having a blast ! love this band so much and the music keeps getting better !
These guys always have a catchy memorable melody in the chorus and lots of groove in their verses.
2:34 Manbun. 2:36: No Manbun. 2:37 Manbun is back. 2:39 And there it goes.
Great song, can't wait for the new album guys.
This band reminded me im a musician & need to use my gift & sharpen it. Being a musician is a beatiful blessing that i hate ive took for granted.

@@pranosmii 💕 :)
Thank you for the lyrics good sure
yes
I see what you did there
I really love this song😢
This music is beautiful, especially the twin guitars coming in after the funky bass at the start, it's a beautiful, unique sound and I see their playing as an extension of many 'Hendrixisms'. Beautiful mix, as well. Overall, a very impressive band of young fellas who deserve all the success for their obvious hard work at their craft.
This sounds awesome dudes 🤘
Bro cover this song, I would love to hear it😇
Pleaaase can you cover this song ? with your touch ?
I discovered this weeks ago and since ... my mind goes waaaay blown away than i could ever imagine 🤩🤩
Please cole cover polyphia
yes
Never seen this band until now.
Where has this been my whole life?
but have you HEARD them...?
That lick at 2:08 is the sweetest lick ever!
I just love how this song relaxes me every single time I need it. lay in bed, plug earphones, close your eyes and let the magic happen
Broken Cross Studio don’t want to know what that’s supposed to infer... 8====D
yes
This is a surise song for me to sip something hot to and watch the sun rise from the horizon as the sky welcomes it or to roll the windows down in the car when driving on the highway and feel the fresh air rush through. Amazing song. My fav from them!
Scott killed it.
最高です!
ファンになりました😍
the lyrics mean so much to me
How did you????????
just none as the meaning of my life :(
I know your comment is sarcastic but often times I think songs such as these with no lyrics are very powerful. The musicians are able to convey something with their instruments that can't be done with words. Polyphia is a great example of this but Buckethead is another one!
Lol
@@lanzz5377 hey Its been 10 months since your comment, and you might have been joking around but still: all lives have meaning, for some its just harder to find. Keep looking, you are worth the try!
I feel like Luke Holland would fit these guys perfectly as a new drummer. His style of drumming seems to fit this well.
まじ素晴らしい!!!!!!!ヤバい、ショックすら感じた!
感動した!!!!
どこに素晴らしさを感じたんですか?
テクニック?すいません変な質問で。
あんまり日本語がなくて。
Bass guitare and drummer great great man.. that was incredible players...wonderfull band....POLYPHIA.
I think my conscious just expanded, i have goosebumps all over
I am so glad to be alive !!!!!
Thankyou for this song
This Polyphia is the best Polyphia.
A guy in the Polyphia group was talking shit about this album but I think its the best one.
@@Sonny377 I get why they don't like it. Personally this is my favorite album by Polyphia... but Tim said he thinks going up and down scales is super corny. I think it sounds great but it does have a lot of going up and down scales in it haha
@@chuckleduck4182
And then they take out 40oz ._. XD
@@adriancaulfield LMAO I get that! but 40oz, despite the scale simplicity, is where tim henson really started to get that trap and production kinda vibe that he has in new levels new devils! Whether it is going up and down scales, it really screams "TIM HENSON" every time i hear it!
All polyphia is best polyphia
Brilliant. Pure happiness.
I am eternally appreciative of their tab giveaways
wow this song really hit me in the feels. The guitar solos were perfectly placed at the end and were BEAUTIFUL. I'm pre ordering this as soon as I get paid.
Man I can't wait for this album... This is seriously instrumental music at it's finest. This makes me think back to when I found my dad's Joe Satriani album Crystal Planet... Beautiful Melodies and amazing musicianship... Inspiring stuff guys seriously.
Clays tone is to die for
I can't get enough of the solos at the end
Nice vocals
yung c dude wtf
hahahahahaha !!
WP
Lmao
ha ha
Bass needed to be turned up to 11 in this one boys.
Probably the most underrated polyphia song.
This one ages nicely
This is POLYPHIA ! I mean, I truly admire every piece of work you guys have so graciously created, but this is you. The tone, pitch, mood, texture...Immaculate. Thanks guys.
Absolutely beautiful song
これめっちゃかっこイイ!!
そして...クレイ、キュートだぁ♡
Listening to this on repeat early morning.... Took the long way to work... Got stuck in traffic... Reached late... Fuck it... Totally worth it !
Clay's hair = goals
+Ferretclaw444 thank you. I havent brushed it in a v long time
+Clay Gober did you make that account just to reply to this comment? lol
This is a gem in a world of hideous commercial music.
This is pretty commercial sounding
This is a pop song with good guitar work, but I love it
"Somewhere between blisteringly fast metal guitar god territory and pure pop, the band came up with a sound that was technically brilliant but still managed to include catchy pop hooks with its face-melting guitar soloing." Taken from their Spotify page
yess
Accurate description. lol
So Vai and Sateiani vibes so love it ❤️❤️ my most fav Polyphia!!
this groove is simple but perfect
Unh! Yes! I really dig the new melodic direction with funky rhythms woven in. Very psyched!
And the bass! The funkiest of funk.
Jesus this is just goddamn crazy, those musicman guitars!? doesn't matter one of the best feel good tracks I've heard from u guys in a while, so dope love it
Polyphia , thank you for existing !
Throwback when first discovered this band.... Pure melody awesomeness
Before the tattoo part of the manga came out.
This song never fails to make me feel upbeat ever for some reason
the guitar sound.. so crunchy 😍
Those cabinets make such beautiful sounds, without heads even!
Clay's bass playing is on par with his looks ;)
Getting some serious the 1975 vibes out of this song.
+YoLpIsBest +The1975VEVO
I was also another one to notice this.
Seriously... I thought the same exact thing. The intro sounds way too similar for my liking, personally.
same, with some solos spruced in this is p much in their area of music I'd say
So I wasn't the only one thinking this... This new album in March and The 1975's new album next week is going to make my 2016.
I love how almost everyone refers to Tim and Scott as “those two guitarists” and Clay G as “The bassist” 💀💀💀 man how times have changed
listening this while watching winter sunset from a mounting is amazing . feeling the music and the beautiful sunset is just so perfect .
You guys have musically matured so much! I'm very happy to see you succeed and make the music you love! Keep it up guys!
just discovered polyphia and they really are the band i've been looking for all these years! absolutely love it!! keep doing you and cant wait for any new releases! :)
just discovered polyphia and what i can say is that their flawless chemistry make their music absolutely amazing.. this song is sooo good my fav so far + the mv is aesthetic af - love this
drummer is killing it and looks way more comfortable then their original drummer.
this is the best polyphia songs😍
Euphoria or G.O.A.T
Never heard of these folks. Clicked on this video on a whim. They're fantastic musicians, like, wow.
when groove and metal collide it's called polyphia and it's fresh and happy
There is not one weak link here. All of these guys SLEIGH! The creativity and tightness are insane.
I dont know much about genres, but this one sounds like JRock. In my head, theres a Japanese rock vocals singing his lungs out while im listening to this.
I thought that this sound is so cool ...
滅茶苦茶好きー!
That last solo is killing me. Absolute perfection
what a great song! strong dominant bass at the beggining, those guitars, like a river flow, so liquid.. I like how both guitarist are switching their solos and sound change but all stays so fluent and beautiful
is it just me or does Tim look like Jack Frost with his hair dyed?
+TheDeciet haha he does
+TheDeciet he looks hot tbh
I knew he looked like someone familiar hahah
+TheDeciet Looks like "pretty boy" from fight club
+Zackary Zarn that was Jared leto

Rarely see a bass player in a band stands on the center position and headbanging the hell out of his head.. lol
It's a good song structure.
Don't forget his 80s dance moves along with it!
Drum mix is amazing on this one
Every time I watch Clay Gober and Clay Aeschliman I think of me and our bass player and wish to be that coordinated and good lmao
Me first hearing this:hMmMmMmMmM
The second time: *Dances along to it*
I'm gonna be real honest... i listen to this song AT LEAST 3 times a day😍 its so powerful and gives me such a sense of euphoria... man I can't even put it into words... i love their music and especially this song ughhhh🥰😍❤
Scottie with an absolutely filthy solo. I dig.
Love how the bassist spins his hair and no comments about his amazingly groovy performance! Love the band!
this is awesome!
In thailand it's 2:00 a.m. I listen this and I feel sleepy
This is easily your best release to date.
wow, clay drums with short hair, blonde era tim, clay bass with no moustache, and scott with short hair. they've changed so much
