Fair play Blakey, it's no easy task converting a van with a busy work life and little ones to look after - I'm almost 2 years into my build and it's not quite finished!
Awesome build, where is the mini fridge(s) location planned for? Love watching these projects of yours, and of course the regular GMBN sessions. Looking forward to the next stage of the Transit to 'Transugatti' transformation.
WOOOOOWW WE GOT A MARS BAR DUDE 🤣 I’m keen to see how this turns out, I thought the jeep was an amazing set up so to sell it and invest in a van Blake must have something better in mind.. 👀
Jake my man! You know the bit you're doing with your measuring tape, where you tilt it up and try to meassure the corner? Well, if you just measure the length of the casing then you can simply butt it up against the wall and add the length of the casing to the number you read on the tape. That way you don't have to guesstimate the exact number. I love jake-builds movies, so much energy!
Blake, maybe after this van series you could do a Blake Builds but on a motorcycle like the ones you have on your channel from 2016. Intriguing videos as always, GMBN. Keep up the great work!
Go Blake GO….. I know one thing for sure, this is going to be interesting 🤔 Very, VERY INTERESTING !!!!!!! Another thing I know… you’ll do it Right Go Blake GO !!!!!!!
In spain a build like this would not pass any MOT inspection unless you homologate every bit of work you install in the van. Amazing to see what all is permitted in the UK.
agreed :) its the same all over EU. You cant just bild a child seat with isoFix and expect to pass MOT, it has to have crashtest homologation etc :) That is why people use relativly cheap bus seats from Intap in their builds
@@Andy-co6pn all bad things have a good part... Lol. In spain you either have a plain van with some minimal camper stuff that is moveable, or a proper homologueted camper which cost around 40-60mil euros..... And rhen comes rhe next story.... With a propoer camper you get fined if you park at a place you think is ok. If you have a not so campered van, you can park anywere.
I was like 'wow let's go look up prices for local used vans' but then I recalled we have a war going on and all vans bought by volunteers and sent to the Forces :)
Love Blake's build videos. The van looks like it'll be great. Id like to know which metal supplier you use? I'm not too far away and struggling to find a local supplier of steel and alu.
Love it! But have you considered the final weight? It looks like a fairly beefy build, and I'm guessing that Tranny is 3.5 tonnes max - which includes the family, bikes, full fuel tank, luggage...... 👍
Is there somewhere where we can see Blake's initial plan for his van or have I missed it? Be cool to see what his ideas and plans are rather than them both saying during the series what's going where. Great series still!
"fuel tank is right there" "alright, don't drill, weld it" me: yeah smart choice! or... wait! heating metal to red hot, right besides a tank full of flammable liquid doesn't sound that smart ':D
I'm a mountain biker and I am lucky enough to be able to ride to my local trails but I do also drive further afield and the number of riders arriving in large vans and pick-ups is astonishing. The carbon dioxide produced from the average mountian bike outing is bad enough as it is. The fuel comsumption of these vehicles is worse than athe average SUV but they seem to be regarded as a signifier of a cool lifestyle. Maybe we need to look at our own sport more critically. Come on UA-cam warriors do your worst - I can take it!
What features would you have in your ultimate MTB van? Let us know 👇
I would have the best miny frige
Make sure it has a GMBN sticker on the back!! lol
@@ethancoomber2794 Wait till you see what I've bought dude. Massive
A cooking station that folds out from the van
Big roof window
Seeing any of Blake's videos always makes my day!
Stoked
Yooo 😄🙌🏻
Same
Ah, Blake. Watching you be happy is one of the great things in life.
You might want to use one of Doddy’s bikes as a measurement tool. Also, tell him to bring you some work gloves and safety glasses! 😆
Oh man, MTB, overlanding and car building? This is awesome 😎
i can’t wait to see it finished , been waiting for this for ever
Thanks for building a van and sharing it with us you beautiful person!
This is an awesome series.
Having Blake explain just about anything makes it so much more entertaining.
Hi Adam, thanks for the support. Glad you enjoyed it 🤘
Enjoyed some doom / sludge metal playing as the floor teardown began. Rest of the show is pure fun :D
been waiting for this one!!
Fair play Blakey, it's no easy task converting a van with a busy work life and little ones to look after - I'm almost 2 years into my build and it's not quite finished!
Love this Series, nice to know that you cut the Speed Limit for our Autobahn 😂.
Greetings from Germany 😘
Haha stoked you’re liking it dude and yes 100mph van coming to your roads soon 🤣😅 joking 🙃
wish these were longer! they're really great to watch.

Looking forward to this! I'm a couple of years behind you Blake, so I'm soaking up all the vanlife tips.
Awesome taking shape Blake

Hi Charlie, we love to see comments like this! Thank you for all your support 🤘
As Blake would say this is going to be one hell of a build !
Looking great Blake
Your side kick is doing an ok job too 😂😜
Awesome stuff #GMBN 🤘👊
Thanks! I think!
@@BearMetalBehindTheBuilds 🤣
Only kidding ,Blake has got himself a great teacher 👍
It's a great Blake Builds series this one
Top stuff
bikes and vans aside... this is wholesome video for some reason.
Global.Howdy?~omg, you created fanatstic ~all the best!
Omg, I'm so excited for this project!! Cheers mates 💫🤘
Thanks for the comment. Stay Tuned 🤘
You need to order some Flarespace! Sleep sideways if you can (I cannot at 6'4"). Welcome to vanlife!
Blake, just keep going... top ducking notch content.
I just finished my first 50km ride and this has popped up. Rest of my day is set
Hahaha 😝 hope you had a good ride Skum
Got excited when I saw this pop up!!! Yes Blake!!!!!! You legend.
Hey @Whiskey Victor, glad your loving the van build. Thanks for the support 👊
I really don’t like camping, but i love watching mtb-ers van builds.
Blake, maybe after this van series you could do a Blake Builds but on a motorcycle like the ones you have on your channel from 2016. Intriguing videos as always, GMBN. Keep up the great work!
You read my mind dude. I’ve started on something along those lines already hehe 😉
Loving it, all Blakes vids are awesome
Thanks for the support Robert! 🤘
Blake is such good vibes
welding structure straight to the floor, that's a new one for me :)
We did it as it makes the van more rigid, and also stops the annoying squeaks as you drive down the road! 😉
Love Blake's videos good job GMBN.
Awesome program
Cheers Martin
Another good one, mate.
I love to say mate because we don't say that here in So. Cal and I like how it sounds. So friendly.
Cheers mate 😉☺️
Mate can be a bit passive-aggressive in some parts of the UK. "Pal" is much more chilled, so much so they named dog food after it! 😁
oooooh... 'can't wait to see that finished build.
Go Blake GO….. I know one thing for sure, this is going to be interesting 🤔 Very, VERY INTERESTING !!!!!!!
Another thing I know… you’ll do it Right
Go Blake GO !!!!!!!
Thank you for the support @A Patriot of Hope DanJohn! Go Blake GO!! 🏎
10:29 that feel good reaciton
Very nice this is going to be a cracking wagon !!
Finally!! Been waiting for this. Great job blake!
Lettssss goooo I’ve been waiting long enough for the next episode
10:14 good old mastic!
Bloody stuff is nuts man.
Water pressure machine so you can wash your bike !
I want a friend like Martin 😂
I’m open for applications when Blake annoys me.
Highlight of the week, can’t wait to see the finished result🤟🏾
@Alex21, glad to see your loving the build! 🤘
What my tube did you use and what length does it come in and how much a length thanks Blake
The product placement works a treat on me! I'm dying for a mars bar now... not had one in ages!.... ps I enjoy, how often will we get the episodes?
Hey @L B, there will be a new van build video every 2 weeks. Also only an in date mars bar we hope😅. Thank you for the support!
Blake is the best!! Van is looking awesome, but I bet it hurt to get rid of that sweet Jeep
He cried for three weeks! 😂
Soooo Cool!! Gotta love it!!
I’m doing the same thing! Except with a 40’ school bus 😜
Yes Blake 🤟🏻 I love a 4x4 but this is looking like a great build 👍🏻
Wow this is going to be well good in the end Blake. :D
There's some aluminium box that has slots in that you can bolt together easy too
Part 3
Loving this.....
when it is done you should go on a trip with Matt Jones again
100% or Danny Mac with his mother ship
Loving this series!!

Lucky for us then that we aren't in the EU anymore 😉

Hey Blake... it's been 2 weeks bro. We need another van build vid! Let's gooooo already!
If you keep them panels. You can use them as templates for your plywood

So excited for the next video, ✌
I can't miss a video with Blake on it. Also, Manon cause she's my internet gf. ✌🏻😂
Come on blakey. Been waiting nearly 3 weeks now.
You always say hello to the beautiful people. OK what about the rest of us.
best moment : awww duuude it's all crumbly
Come on Blake surely its going to be a Feransit???
When is episode three coming out? And come to think of it all the rest 😀
Love your vids and can't wait for the next one but for the love of the big dude up stairs. Hold that grinder with both hands Blake. 🤜
Safety First Right? Thanks for the support! 🤛
Blake you need to wear gloves more mate 👌🏼
It's a Transarari 😎🤘
Done hahaha thanks martin. Transarari!!
GCN can never do a video like this. They not have the presenters for this job. :)
Love it! But have you considered the final weight? It looks like a fairly beefy build, and I'm guessing that Tranny is 3.5 tonnes max - which includes the family, bikes, full fuel tank, luggage...... 👍
I think they're only about 2 tonnes unladen so there's a fair amount to play with there. People and bikes don't weigh that much...
We have considered this and will be weighing it at the end.
The metal will be far less that a wooden structure. So much stronger and 100% safer 👍
It's normal for vans to fly past me at over 200km/h in the Autobahn. I hope to see you in the Alps soon
welcome to the worx chanell
5 words. Homemade ammo can wood stove. Look it up if you have access to surplus cans.
That sounds like an idea. Thanks dude
@@Zimblake I look forward to seeing it on a blake builds 🤞
That moment where you wonder if you can eat the chocolate bar that fell into the void many a year ago.
That wheel tub 🥴
Transeratti!

Worked so late it was pitch black outside and the moon was out 16:06
Sorry, if I saw it you all have to see it.🥺
Missed the perfect opportunity to use the A-team’s theme song
Like your vids
Did you weld the structure to the van?
We did indeed, makes the van so much more rigid.
What's the dimensions of those beams?
For a moment I thought Blake was going to chomp down on the Mars bar
Imagine 😅🤒
I’m disappointed you didn’t take a bite. Pretend it’s a sell by not a use by haha.
I was as well. I should of done it
Great series, but get some hearing protection before it's too late!
There was a shot you could see they had ear plugs in 👍
the dream!

Diesel is not as dangerous as gasoline. It must be under high pressure to burn. But they need to be extra careful while working next to fuel line

Most Suv is about 15-20mpg a van is around 40mpg
Omg you joining the dark side....
Why don’t yoy loosen the step and turn the handlebars to the side so the bikes don’t need to be offset ? 🤷🏻♂️
Instalike
Anyone else notice that the van in the Logo is a sprinter not a transit? 🤦♂️
kids, don't weld without gloves. ive made that mistake
