- The Zhiyun Fiveray F100 is a pretty remarkable light stick. The small footprint combined with it's output and features makes it a perfect light for content creators, product shooters and the run and gun shooter who what's a travel friendly light that can handle almost anything out in the field.

Apart from being bi-color it also sports a RGB/HSI mode, lighting effects. And a boost mode, giving you a whopping 100W output. The included diffusion makes it a great table top keylight. The included grid is great for product photography and other scenarios where you want to hit a portion of your subject with a little light.
The battery life is also pretty impressive with:

* 1h 04 min at 50W
* 0h 31 min at 100W

A few videos after this review I switched to using the F100 as my studio keylight along with diffusion. It's done a great job. I just recently switched to a cob to have the F100 available for run and gun shoots again.

Yes and no, it was completely new to me until recently. There's also an earlier model of this light - F100C
Looks like the short power cable is a common issue with lights...
True, seems like an easy thing to fix. Who will be first? ;)
in terms of output, what would this be comparable to? A 60d, 120d, etc?
In terms of lumens, the 60d is probably going to be a tad brighter.
Sorry but the fans are so loud. Event at low rpm they are making strange noises and at max mode they blow like hairdryer.
Then I would suggest that you reach out to Zhiyun about those fans.
Mine has gotten some heavy use out on location and fans are still whisper quiet. Ran it last night on a shoot for about 2.5h (powered from a V-mount) Without any noise issues. So I would contact Zhiyun if the fans are noisy.
