Great video. I have used CapCut a couple times, but the round trip if you mess something is time consuming, specially in large projects.
But for short videos it's a good alternative.
In spanish Captionator seems a bit more accurate.

hola por alguna razón queda cargando y no termina de procesar el archivo, no se si estoy hacendó lago mal o lo tengo configurado de otra forma pero queda cargando y nada que pasa al otro activo xml, podrían orientarme porfavor?

I actually think capcut seemed simpler so I tried that and was super happy with how fast it worked.

Excellent video! Very helpful! I've been using iMovie for most editing and Capcut for auto captioning. I've been looking at upgrading to FCP and have been wondering how it compares with Capcut for captioning so this was the perfect video to get recommended. Very well done!

Yes I did. It's a bit better with the accuracy but doesn't sync anymore with the video speech. I have to manually adjust it to sync.
what plugins do you use? also love your channel keep up the good work :)
I mostly use mKBHD, mTutorial, mCamrig and few ones from ccreation.store

Good vid thanks. Interesting point to note - just been over to AppStore and it says Captionator requires MacOs 13.0 or later. Mine is a late 2015 iMac and I've just discovered can't run Ventura (13.0)

I have tried using Captionator in Final Cut for editing a 17min video. But it freezes so badly I can’t edit the captions. Do you experience the same when editing longer videos? Thank you for your video
CapCut is equally good and a quick one. Only drawback I noticed is that we cannot export SRT file. The superimposed subs doesn't work for everyone. Thanks for the video anyways. Cheers.

@@real_joey Thanks. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I tried exporting the video but it is not giving me SRT. First thing, CapCut is not available in my country. I downloaded DMG and used it. I guess it comes with limitations.

Awesome. The new update from Captionator helped a lot. I’ve started using captionator again and it works pretty ok 👌🏿
Captionator now supports Whisper, GPT for audio, so it should be even better than it was 2 months ago!

You’re welcome. I tried translating into different languages on both but it was terrible. I think both only do good job with languages been used in the video

Are you considering switching to Capcut? Final Cut Pro has been considered outdated for quite some time now, while Capcut offers a range of advanced features such as autocaption, background remover, and easy animation.
I'm sad for FCP, but I hope FCP catches up soon with the latest updates and features like AI.
Currently I use both. I use FCP for all my clients work and UA-cam videos. I use CapCut for quick short edits especially with the mobile app version.

Captionator is the worst option, it has many errors, it does not process pauses, its translation engine into other languages is terrible, we cannot see the style in real time... do not waste your money

@@real_joey yes i did downloaded from aptoide then used any vpn i was editing a health fitness championship event but the auto caption making alot of mistake i will have to hear all of them and correct
Buy Captionator because Tik Tok could go away at anytime
Captionator tanked after the last upgrade. The accuracy is completely off and it doesn't sync with the timeline. I have to manually adjust everything when there's a voice break for a grahpic.

Exactly whats happening to me. Both Siri and whisper models are not accurate.
