All these videos in a row!!!! I feel like I'm getting to binge watch my favorite Netflix series! LOVING IT! These book suggestions are wonderful. I've been wanting to read more quality books so this is perfect! Thanks as always!
I managed to get through 125 books last year, I went a little crazy on them and didn't really think about curating the content I was consuming until the end of the year so this year I am starting off right. I am interested in 3 things in the last 6 months, design - because it relates to work, advertising/marketing, and wine. To bring all of these together into one "learning development plan", I guess, I have a number of books I want to read this year. 1. Windows of the World: Complete Wine Course by Kevin Zraly. Not only because I want to learn more about wine but I would love love love to complete some wine related branding projects this year. There are so many rules around wine labels, what can and cannot be displayed on the bottle depending on region etc. I think it would be a good challenge as both a designer and budding wine consumer. So that is on my list. 2. Hey Whipple, Squeeze This: The Classic Guide To Creating Great Ads by Luke Sullivan and Edward Boche. I have the fifth edition, which is updated for social and emerging media. This is to expand my knowledge of advertising as it relates to design. My goal is to break further into the advertising space in 2020 and beyond, which lessons learned and making great creative. (would be amazing if it was wine related too though). 3. Wine Without Pitching. For all the reasons you cited. I ordered it today. 4. The Age or Persuasion: How Marketing Ate Our Culture by Terry O'Reilly and Mike Tennant. Marketing is interesting, and this is one I heard great things about. 5. Freelance Business And Stuff - Based off your recommendation. I had not heard of this one so I just ordered it. Let's see how this goes. Would love to know if you will be releasing any stuff after you've read these books.
Oh, hey, I also have Freelance, and Business and Stuff sitting on my desk to read. They are amazing. I also finished Pocket Full of Do and made so many notes. Going to have to refer to this one a few times. Also, for studying why some people are successful, I think a nice take is Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell if you have not read it.

Good selections of books.. I've just ordered the Tim Ferris book and I am definitely going to get the Gary Vee book.. I'm not fan of Gary Vee, but I too from time to time need someone to yell at me and tell me to get off my butt and do the work 💯💪💪
