I always remove the dealer tag/stickers from the back of my cars because those little stickers are free advertising for the dealer. The easy way to stay off of a car payment is to take out the loan completely with 20-30% down then completely pay it off on a equity line so that way you only pay the interest on what you pay on your mortgage which is definitely a lot less.
Never heard of a car loan that works like a home loan. You should not be paying 2/3 interest a month. That is amortization and used for 30 year loans where you pay more interest than principal your first years.

Why would you have bought the car if it was 10%? I bought a GR corollla circuit edition in August with 833 credit and my rate was 6.5%, which is high but not 10%
Rates are stupid I ordered a 24 a few months back when they first started arriving and when it came in rates were about 7-9% currently have a 21 5.0 ten speed at 0%… so I passed but definitely don’t regret it
Just picked up the Dark Horse yesterday in blue amber metallic w/ the Recaros and 10-speed. Sadly it did not have the handling package but it still rides like a dream.

Yup I got 0 on mine too and went to dealership even with perfect credit they want 10% now on a new car, told them they were just insane, rates are just stupid crazy
You have 30 days to get out of any new car deal. The dealership had no choice, you just didn't know. Ive done this twice. Once in Tennessee and in Indiana
I'm keeping my 2024 stock since they're so picky about warranties now. I actually enjoy driving my 2012 Brembo GT more and will do any mods to that one.
Got a 23 with roush supercharged in sept . For 75k lowering springs staggered American racing wheels new grill .got it for 1.9% ford credit had offers on 23 and jumped on it .instead of dark horse . Love this 1st MUSTANG got H PIPE AND done .
you mentioned you will take the magneride suspension from your other car and put it in this one? afaik, this is almost impossible! not to mention the wiring requirements. If you manage to install a magneride suspension on a car that wasn't built with magneride, please post a video on how you did it, because i've heard from ford dealers that it can't be done...
He's not taking the MagneRide suspension off, he said it didn't have MagneRide just like his previous Mustang, so he's able to transfer the suspension parts to the new car. Really though it just comes down to the springs, shocks/struts as MagneRide requires a different type of spring rate.
The cost to trade in a depreciated vehicle was really less than the higher cost of the interest rate you incurred with the white car? Most likely a monthly cash outflow decision vs an overall profit decision?
Just curious I know you said you only work with Ford finance because you have a good relationship with them but less than 24 hrs later they wouldn’t help ?
Lots of noise. Not impressed with noise. However, my wife's ex bought her a 2010 SHO "off the lot" from his buddy who was also PCS'ing and couldn't take it with him. She still has it and we're taking good care of it.
These days, manuals are slower than the autos and no one drives them anymore - dealers prefer trade ins with autos, because very few buy manuals these days. Also, do need to get better finance and payments. Should have could have, but anyway, good that you got this worked out with the new one.
Great looking car! Great video! Very much looking forward to your video content with a "manual trans Stang". (Most Mustang vloggers buy the auto trans.) I have a red manual trans '22 Mustang GT with the active valve exhaust, and it is an absolute blast to drive!

Congrats in your new car. I am getting a mustang on march but probably a s550 the s650 has not warmed up to me yet. The red color looks awesome and glad you got a better deal
if you are gonna mkd it id try to find a 2017-2019. Those have the better built engines, especially the ecoboosts and they can still be tuned easily and hidden from the dealer if you ever bring it in. I had my ecoboost making 430 wheel, sold it back to dealer and they had no idea it was ever not stock.
i got my EcoBoost Premium 2024 in September 23. I paid off the car in total In February this year. Loan was for 7% interest.....it was bad...the reason I paid it off.
"3600 miles of ownership and I've loved every single mile of it... It's been a good car!" So THAT'S the review, and the reason you're selling it so young is to get into a better finance deal. Ookay. It's ALWAYS like this with these kinds of titles, regardless of who posts 'em: "I love the car, don't get me wrong, but it just didn't suit me personally because..." I'm in Australia, they're expensive here (as there!) but I did own one as a college kid in America 35 years ago and no one yet has told me I'll be sorry buying a right hand drive edition for myself. I think I'm gonna pull the tr!gg3r, guys. I'm gonna buy a 2025 'Stang.
Zander, Im with you 100% I love my C8 and for the couple times a month i drive it i really enjoy it! But i got 6.8% interest on it and I pay around 400 bucks in interest each month to own the car.... So yeah ive been thinking about getting rid of the c8 and getting something else.
In the end, it would have been wise to just keep the S550. Unless you have deeper pockets, those 20-22's were going for basically nothing with interest rates.
How could you sign a deal at 10 percent? You didn't read the deal before signing? That's on you man. Read what you sign. You are pissing away 2k and more interest down the road. I like your videos Zander but, wtf are you doing?
Needed this video cancelled my order was fully loaded trade in value was terrible and my interest from previous load too high so didn’t bring my loan down a lot, I still have my s550 gonna hold on for couple years trying it again with prob less options , is magna ride suspension that good to get or mod suspension comparable?
May I suggest you purchase the active exhaust muffler and actuators and the Grimm speed wireless remore controller. Then you can open/close the valves at will.
Great find and glad you got a better deal/rate. I honestly hope this red car treats you better than the last one! Cant wait to see where you go with this one! 🍻🍻
People don't realize how much just a couple of points in interest can add to what you pay for the car. I got 4.9% for 72 months from Ford Credit when I picked up my Mustang in December so I must have just caught the incentives. My car was ordered and delayed by the UAW strike so good thing. Good you got rid of the white car anyway - my least favorite color.
I love that race red Battle. I have a 2019 race red one. I don't blame you for trading, 10% interest is ridiculous 😮. Cant wait to see what all you have planned for this one. I miss the go face videos 😅
just got a s650 manual performance pack, manual, got about 8000kms on it. odd question in track mode do you find that the redline indicated on the dash doesn't match when the car hits the limiter. mine seams to limit at 7300 not 7500 as indicated. But in any other mode it appears to be proper.
There is a soft & hard limiter.. shift earlier.. you don't want to be hitting the limiter on coyote's.. your gonna hurt it.. that's how you break guides, tensioners, and worst of all oil pump gears & cam sprocket.. They rev so quick you should be shooting for 7000-7100 in a stick car as there is a bit of throttle hang/over run in the TB..
Correct me if im wrong, so some young kid doesn't think that if they sign their name on a 60k loan & decide to trade a car back in for a better rate & payment that you still owe 60k at the end of the day no matter if the new car is 50k...
Some young kid? I’m a 38 year old kid then 😮 which may be true lol. My other car I financed $55k and new one is right at $57k and my payment went way down. Math is math
Myb i could hav writing that better. Nor meaning your the kid but someone young watching this video & not understanding how that works but I get the math
So you're going to sell with depreciation AND have to pay sales tax again AND have to pay registration again instead of just refinancing because you like Ford Credit? Makes no sense.
When I bought my 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT years ago, the dealer stuck me with a 7% interest rate. I had strong credit. I took the car and drove straight to my credit union and refinanced down to 3%. Saved over $100 a month.
If you can't write a check for the car, then you can't afford the car. Paid cash for my '23 HPP/HP, paid cash for my '18 GT. I have zero interest in the S650 unless Ford goes back to the analog gauge dash, unlocks the ECU and lowers the prices.
Your perspective is an old fashioned one and while you could be right in some cases there are plenty of people who have afforded them on payments and paid them off before the term of the loan.
@@danielshepard7357 shame on me for saving up cash to buy cars, guess its silly I didn't pay interest on loans all while watching the asset in question depreciate simultaneously. Zander, Im with you 100% I love my C8 and for the couple times a month i drive it i really enjoy it! But i got 6.8% interest on it and I pay around 400 bucks in interest each month to own the car.... So yeah ive been thinking about getting rid of the c8 and getting something else.
🤘🙏🙏🙏
Looks Great , I’m sure it’s going to make a killer project for you. I bet your glad to sitting back in the Recaro’s . Enjoy the Hot Rod Brother .
🙏🙏🙏
What percentage of interest on the new one? And did ford price match online?
Nice color glad you stuck with the manual transmission you're a good man
Thanks 👍
You can refinance at a much lower rate unless you have bad credit.
In the end, it would have been wise to just keep the S550. Unless you have deeper pockets, those 20-22's were going for basically nothing with interest rates.
You must have the most understanding wife ever! Truth be told, I feel for anyone just trying to make ends meet right now.
She hates my hobbies 😆
Got my Toyota at the same time and got 2.99%. No wonder they treat you so good since you were willing to pay out 10%!
I didn’t pay out 10% 🤷♂️
Bought mine through Ford Credit and my rate was 4.5% in Oct 2023
Smart thinking man drive safe drive hard and enjoy
🙏🙏🙏
How could you sign a deal at 10 percent? You didn't read the deal before signing? That's on you man. Read what you sign. You are pissing away 2k and more interest down the road. I like your videos Zander but, wtf are you doing?
Like I said. I screwed up
@@Zander13Productions Better luck going forward.
I feel like since it just came out the price is going to be stupid, but in a couple of years you could get a used one for a decent price and miles
If you can do it I’d like for you to share your active exhaust installation. May try to do that.
Great find and glad you got a better deal/rate. I honestly hope this red car treats you better than the last one! Cant wait to see where you go with this one! 🍻🍻
I hope so too!
Why do Mustangs make so much noise and move relatively slowly.
Out running everything else
People don't realize how much just a couple of points in interest can add to what you pay for the car. I got 4.9% for 72 months from Ford Credit when I picked up my Mustang in December so I must have just caught the incentives. My car was ordered and delayed by the UAW strike so good thing. Good you got rid of the white car anyway - my least favorite color.
Always loved those ford racing bucket seats, wish they would fit in my FoST. Love the Red, congrats on the better deal of a car.
Thanks!
I love that race red Battle. I have a 2019 race red one. I don't blame you for trading, 10% interest is ridiculous 😮. Cant wait to see what all you have planned for this one. I miss the go face videos 😅

9:00 that floor mat is dirty! Even my work truck is cleaner than that.
just got a s650 manual performance pack, manual, got about 8000kms on it. odd question in track mode do you find that the redline indicated on the dash doesn't match when the car hits the limiter. mine seams to limit at 7300 not 7500 as indicated. But in any other mode it appears to be proper.
Yes, that's my same experience with my Dark Horse Premium. Bought it brand new with 10 miles and have 1,000 on it now.
I like the single tips way better sometimes less is more...
Its honestly a shame how bad the rear look considering the rest of the car is perfect.
It’s much better in person
Correct me if im wrong, so some young kid doesn't think that if they sign their name on a 60k loan & decide to trade a car back in for a better rate & payment that you still owe 60k at the end of the day no matter if the new car is 50k...
Some young kid? I’m a 38 year old kid then 😮 which may be true lol. My other car I financed $55k and new one is right at $57k and my payment went way down. Math is math
Myb i could hav writing that better. Nor meaning your the kid but someone young watching this video & not understanding how that works but I get the math
@@kawzx777 I understand
So you're going to sell with depreciation AND have to pay sales tax again AND have to pay registration again instead of just refinancing because you like Ford Credit? Makes no sense.
No sales tax bc it was equal value. Registration was a none issue too in my car. Basically an even swap
Wow - that blows ... what rate did you get ?
BS, upside down isnt a factor, should have went without the premium! Do add ons later after you pay your debt off
When I bought my 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT years ago, the dealer stuck me with a 7% interest rate. I had strong credit.
I took the car and drove straight to my credit union and refinanced down to 3%.
Saved over $100 a month.
Great decision Alex! Your upload reminds me of the movie Cannon Ball Run 2 and the Countach. Starts off white, boom Red lol.
Great looking car good Luck mate thank you from Sydney Australia 😊
Thanks 👍
Best places to refinance?
Shame on me for spending less on insurance for my cars since I owned them outright. Shame on me for figuring out how to pay for a house so I could retire by age 54. Shame on me for being so "old fashioned" that I ended up being a responsible, hard working adult.
Who tried to shame you lil fella??
Good for you
How much do you make roughly annually? Congrats on the paid off cars
Yeah, paying interest expense is a mother. Especially if you are talking paying interest on a depreciating asset like a car.
The S650 is heavier by over 140 lbs, slower too and copy bmw 2-3 series with the dash. Way over priced too.
It’s not heavier except for like 20 pounds more. This has already been disproven a ton of times. Definitely not slower either. Just ran down a modded s550 today and he had no chance. And mine is stock 😂
