      Do girls not want to date anymore, or was the app never really about dating and more about validation seeking. Maybe they've found a better app to get validation elsewhere.
      and also girls in dating apps linking guys to cash apps or other sites where they can "pay for play".
      Also there's app like "skip the games" which are straight up digital escort prostitution. These app wouldn't exist if women didn't willing want to profit from them. If it's not that it's only fans.
      Ruthless out there for the average man

      Most people aren’t meeting people through dating apps to begin with.
      YouGov surveys conducted in 18 countries globally in 2022-23 found that overall 10% met their current or most recent partners through online dating, rising only to 12% in the 18-34 age bracket.
      The vast majority of Gen Z (and all other generation) are not meeting their partners through Online Dating. Most of it is coming through social circle (friends/family, work, school, jobs, church, etc.)
      This alone doesn’t necessarily mean to scrap dating apps in favor of social circle because just because it’s what most people do doesn’t mean it’s optimal (personally I like sourcing from as many places as possible: daygame, nightgame, online game, social circle game) it’s just good to be aware that dating apps are a small subset of how people are actually meeting.

    This feels like it's only applicable for really big cities. In my area I'm always seeing the same women over and over again after a while or the apps say there aren't any more people unless I reset the parameters like distance, age and so on. I couldn't possibly get that many swipes on different women, no matter if left or right.

      This is my read as well. I used to do very well in online dating, especially on okcupid. Tinder changed the game and their owner, Match, basically bought all the competition and made it equally shitty and monetized.
      It's especially bad in smaller cities. It honestly feels not worth the time anymore and that cold approach is a better time and effort investment...shitty because I used to be able to get a match, game the girl for a week while I was at work, and then smash on weekends. It was a very reliable system I had going.

      @jaumartinez9006 I'm located in Europe, we have a whole different scope of what big cities are. The actual town where I live has around 800 people, where I work has around 65k and the capital of the county (40 min by car) has 200k. I like to live here, but I think the numbers have an effect on how you have to date because some tips are certainly not working in that environment

    I approach it as a numbers game and have only been on the apps for about 60 days. I don't have Tinder but am on Hinge and Bumble. I get good results IMO on Hinge in terms of matching + convo but much better date options from Bumble. I don't swipe nearly as much, it goes in groups. I will swipe on 20-30 women on each app then spend the next couple weeks weeding them out. Rinse and repeat. I'm estimating of those 20-30 swips(40-60 total between the apps) I will get ~20 convos and 4-6 dates over 2 weeks.

      Could you talk a little more about Bumble? Your comment is making me want to check it out. I don't like the idea of not being able to send a message even if you match. I tried Tinder and it was just awful, glitchy, slimy, all I got was bots trying to sell me OF accounts.
      I've been only on Hinge for like 3 months now. I got a few dates during a period where I was sending out like 50-100 likes a day (I had a lot of spare time lol) which is a little much for it to be worth it. It was affecting my mental health, made my head feel a little mushy and I don't want to spend that much time on it. Seems like if I get off of it for a few days there are a few high quality profiles who I actually feel excited to possibly meet, then it's like a long list of accounts I've already seen before and with my age range like 90% bland college girls obsessed with vaguely meme-y jokes and alcohol (which I can't stand). Now I have a few girls who I haven't managed to take out but who still keep texting me, dates who rejected or ghosted, girls I didn't want another date with, and one I actually liked that seems like she would do a second date but is on a 3 week vacation in another country lol. So it seems like less is more, could be the ideal strategy for Hinge to hop on every few days or a few min each day and just run through the new hot girl accounts, but since I've been spending less than half an hour and hardly sending any hearts I'm getting like no results. 2 matches in the past 2 weeks when I'd get a couple every few days. I think maybe the spring has something to do with it too, girls would rather be outside. But it's a little depressing to think of how much work went into a few dates when my profile is pretty good. Got some plans for reworking it to hopefully get it better and good enough even to get hearts, though it's already pretty good as far as what Todd tells you to have in it. I'm def good looking and my profile pic is a good headshot where I'm in a suit lol. I'm in a pretty sizeable city where it makes sense to have more results.

      Your body is what makes a woman decide that she wants to have sex with you and lust over you. I’ve done the years of nerd research so you didn’t have to. It represents everything about you, you can’t fake fitness.
      When you see a young robust woman whose features scream health and fertility, you have strong urges. Same thing for women, pregnancy is just costlier for them, so other hurdles and criteria need to be met aswell before they allow themselves to act on that lust.

    12:18 Question:
    If we want to find a girl to be with for hopefully the rest of our life, how do we solve the problem of not knowing if we're gonna meet a smarter, hotter, nicer girl next week? It'd be really hard to say no to the current cute and nice girl because what if that's just the best you'll ever find?

    • @konrad3
      @konrad3 3 місяці тому +3

      Finding a life long partner is not about finding the smartest, hottest, nicest person. It's about finding a person you want to be with. And now comes the important part: You both have to COMMIT to the relationship.
      Studies show that commitment is what makes relationships last.

    • @DAMfoxygrampa
      @DAMfoxygrampa 3 місяці тому +1

      @@konrad3 Yeah, you're right. At some point you have to "settle" (kinda hate the word but there's truth to it). Luckily, I have no issue with the commitment part.
      Maybe the key is to decide before dating people what it would take you to commit to the next person. For instance, you could say you'll agree to date someone if they're an 8/10 or higher in the categories of looks, compassion and ambition (or something along those lines, as an example). That way, by deciding beforehand, you aren't just going by how you feel but actually making a plan and following through with it.
      What's your take on that idea?

    • @Paul-yk7ds
      @Paul-yk7ds 3 місяці тому +2

      I'm just spitballing here, but I'd say, start out with an ambitious view of the kind of relationship you want, with your dream partner. Date around and look for that person for as long as you can enjoy the process and stay optimistic that you might find what you really want. Then, if you eventually feel exhausted or humbled by not coming anywhere close to that, and if you're getting to the age when you really want to settle down... then you'll naturally start to consider compromising, but it will be based on an educated breadth of experiences. Hopefully by that point you'll also have enough real life dating experience to know which parts of your dream relationship/girl are actually most important to you, and you can still prioritize those criteria the most, while becoming more lax about other details you realize are not really crucial.

      I know the feel, I went straight from the barber (fresh haircut/beard) to a studio to get professional photos so I could pick and choose a good headshot as my 1st pic, dress shirt and everythin
      bought Tinder Platinum for one year (luckily a value offer so not too costly) and then went to town with it to see the results
      In the 7 months that I used Tinder, I got roughly 25 matches total ~about 6 were gay/transvestite dudes, and another 10 or so were fat/chubby women
      (when I used Super Boost it was the only time I spammed right swipes without looking really, so the gays and fatties slipped into the matches)
      the remaining 8-9 matches were various plain/average women (one of them an older milf), most of them never responded after the 1st message/exchange, and only one match lead to a small conversation (where I did most of the talking) that ultimately fizzled out
      I even bought Todd's ODA thinking I'd get to practice his advice, but I never got any chance to spit some actual game online to begin with all these months, given the lack of matches 😂
      also, my profile got liked by women of their own initiative a grand total of 4 times ~3 fatties, 1 transvestite ~ in these 7 months (consider that my profile had higher visibility too since it was Platinum)
      outside of using super boosts spam once a week(free via Platinum), I was otherwise careful with the algorithm and my swiping, as well as my Super Likes and 1st messages,
      ultimately it resulted in an average of 1.2 unresponsive match per month that led to nothing

If he is paid 20 USD per hour, it cost him 32.840 USD. He better have worked and bought a nicer car.
