I've done a few cold approaches at the local community college (I go there) and after every approach I've learnt something that has helped me in the next cold approach. I see some of them every now and then and they smile and say hi......my problem is verbal game......what exactly to say. What a coincidence. Only a few hours ago I wanted to give a big tip to a girl and she refused it. I told her she could get something to drink but she told me that when we will meet in some other place, I would offer something to drink to her. At which I replied, When.... when we will be 100 years old? And then I left and she kept looking at me, perhaps hoping that I will ask her out. I would add that it is not only what you say, but how you say it. Todd has taught from the beginning that in general your words should be spoken in a relaxed, cool, off-handed tone of voice. So, from Todd's teaching and my own experience, what you say is about 20%. How you say it is about 80%. Be cool in everything you do and say. What does "cool" mean? It means that you have seen and done everything and that you have reached the level of Amused Master. Wax on. Wax off.
Todd I'm going to have disagree on your point about body language mainly because sub communications. You can give any guy your best lines, unless their smv is higher than girl they're generally going to perform poorly. Vise Versa, take a guy with amazing sub coms and just speaks his mind freely, that guy on average is going to perform a lot more better than a guy justing relying on your lines. Off-course it's better to have both especially because of frame control but if I had to say which one is more efficient it would be Subcoms over verbals. Remember, actions speak louder than words.

There needs to be subtlety in your game and only a very little percentage of subtlety can be displayed through body language. It all heavily depends on the words you say.

Hey, Todd, love your stuff, bought the course, looking forward to infield with subtitles. I do understand the opening structure and open-close model, it makes sense. However, I feel like, without high level of creativity, it's difficult to implement any verbal structure. Which is why almost everyone in game reports the problem of running out of things to say. Not because for not knowing what observations or push-pulls are and when to deploy them, but because it's so difficult to come up with them in split second while the girl appears before you. So do you have any tips to strengthen that creativity muscle and quicken verbal reflexes beyond the usual advice of "take up improv course" or "game the wall" (not really effective)? Or is there no better answer than doing million approaches hoping creativity muscle strengthens through trial and error? If there are other ways to take creativity to the next level quickly, I'd love to know how.
Many times, when you think you need to be more creative, it's just the opposite and you gotta no-filter talk your head off. Try to implement a punishment/reward exercise with yourself to do non-filter talk. Worked x me. It's not that you are not creative enough, it's you are not loose enough. Give yourself permission.

I get what you’ve saying, but Spanish is a language that in many ways is very similar to English. Also there are some cultural differences that might make words that work great for you in English sound weird when translated to another language. I often notice that when watching your videos, that when I translate some of the things you say in my head they sound incredibly weird.
I think language AND culture are variables that should be taken into consideration. I think the basic principles of verbal game apply mostly anywhere, but even within the USA, languages are used differently across different subcultures so it'll require adaptation. Would love clarification from Todd on what the basic universal principles of verbal game are.

I would add that it is not only what you say, but how you say it. Todd has taught from the beginning that in general your words should be spoken in a relaxed, cool, off-handed tone of voice. So, from Todd's teaching and my own experience, what you say is about 20%. How you say it is about 80%. Be cool in everything you do and say. What does "cool" mean? It means that you have seen and done everything and that you have reached the level of Amused Master. Wax on. Wax off.

Todd I'm going to have disagree on your point about body language mainly because sub communications.
You can give any guy your best lines, unless their smv is higher than girl they're generally going to perform poorly. Vise Versa, take a guy with amazing sub coms and just speaks his mind freely, that guy on average is going to perform a lot more better than a guy justing relying on your lines.
Off-course it's better to have both especially because of frame control but if I had to say which one is more efficient it would be Subcoms over verbals. Remember, actions speak louder than words.

Hey, Todd, love your stuff, bought the course, looking forward to infield with subtitles. I do understand the opening structure and open-close model, it makes sense. However, I feel like, without high level of creativity, it's difficult to implement any verbal structure. Which is why almost everyone in game reports the problem of running out of things to say. Not because for not knowing what observations or push-pulls are and when to deploy them, but because it's so difficult to come up with them in split second while the girl appears before you. So do you have any tips to strengthen that creativity muscle and quicken verbal reflexes beyond the usual advice of "take up improv course" or "game the wall" (not really effective)? Or is there no better answer than doing million approaches hoping creativity muscle strengthens through trial and error? If there are other ways to take creativity to the next level quickly, I'd love to know how.
Many times, when you think you need to be more creative, it's just the opposite and you gotta no-filter talk your head off. Try to implement a punishment/reward exercise with yourself to do non-filter talk. Worked x me. It's not that you are not creative enough, it's you are not loose enough. Give yourself permission.
