Hi. I am in Iceland right now. Today is my last day. Thank you for your recommendations. Yesterday I went to Lok8 a d the fish spread and ice cream were outdtanding.
The tours of the Golden Ring and Sothern coast eere well wprth ot. The uniqueness and beauty of the landscape were amazing.
Keep up the great work!!
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed your trip! ❤️
We skipped the tourist crowds by travelling and hiking at night under the midnight sun. Was quiet, bright and beautiful. Got to the Westfjords but missed some other places. Such a beautiful country.
I can't stop watching your videos! Thank you so much!
Happy to help, thanks for the support!
Another good one is Gullfoss (just joking). I was hoping you would tell us about some more specific locations, Westfjords is a very big place, as are the other four on the list.
I really just love your channel. Thank you so much!
You're so welcome - happy to have you following along :)
My tip- GO IN MAY! There were barely any tourists (not enough for it to be a big problem outside of places like skogafoss and seljalandsfoss). The weather was also okay (45-50F)
Hi! What is the name of the pool at 4:23? Love your videos.
Thanks for sharing. I'm planning to go to Iceland in Feb/Mar and it will be my first time. For first timers I reckoned that all those usual touristy place such as golden circle is a must do. No matter how crowded it would be, the attractions in golden circle are still uniquely Iceland - can't leave them out. Yes indeed there are many other off beaten tracks to discover.
just make sure to speed through and dont spend too much time on the golden circle.. but if you go in Feb/March there wont be too many tourists. I went at the same time..it can be cold as fuck, but not too many tourists around, especially outside the golden circle.
Wow such an amazing video! Thanks so much for sharing! When we go back we will have to visit more of the northern side of the island! :)
You are so welcome! Yes, definitely a lot of magic happening in that area ;)
Hi Jennie, it's funny that you mention about the boom in tourism. On the other UA-cam channel with an icelander I mentioned in a comment long ago that Iceland is one of the most unrecognized country for its beauty in nature.😯
Thanksfor the information
Happy to help Andres!
new sub. nice adventure. thanks for sharing.
Subscribed! 😄
I went to the east fjords and I stayed in Breidalsvik (a little village) and it was amazing. Really recommend you to do the whole ring road and pass from the east fjords
Can you provide a more detailed guide to visiting the Westfjords. It is difficult to find information online about what to see there.
I did do a video on the Westfjords here: icelandwithaview.com/weekend-breathtaking-westfjords-video
Let me know what you think!
Am I able to drive to the “Basalt” area by Studlagil canyon in sept?!
Jeannie with a view---I love your videos and tips on Iceland. We are traveling there 4/6/18-4/17/18. So... your video on hidden gems.....
Is there anywhere we should avoid of those during the time we are there?
Thanks Ann! April is a pretty good time to visit because it's right before the peak tourist season - you should be fine! Have a great trip :)
We went in Sept ....AND are going again this next Dec...yes Dec.....can't wait!!!
So great to hear - I LOVE Iceland in December
3:27 Elephant:)
I love that rock!
Is it on high altitude? Requires too much hiking?
I’ll bet thats great in summer but don’t think during winter it’s even going to be accesible...
Simple question for you. Im planning on going to Iceland next summer, mostly for hiking. Since the sun rise pretty early, do you know if it is possible to get to some hiking spots or beaches like really early (before 6am) to avoid the crowd or there are limited times to acces those places?
Where in the Westfjords is the waterfall that is pictured at 4:20? I'm planning a trip to Iceland and would love to see it!
Dynjandi! My favorite :)
what is the name of that waterfall in westfjord?
Dynjandi! THE BEST :)
im planning to visit iceland in september..is it good?
Going to Iceland in June with my adult daughter, this will be my sixth time, her first. Going to stay on the south coast upto Vik any suggestions besides the obvious?
From Vik take 214 to the end and hike up the hills, also my wife and I hike up Hjorleifshofoi and the view as great. My key board does not have the Icelandic letters so I got as close as I could. You can see it from rt 1. There are also little travel books and best is to ask at the place where you are staying.
Which island is the elephant located? Becuz I would love the see him in person in September!!!
That is near Heimay in the Westman Islands!
Number 1 🤗😇👍🏻
Hi is it possible to explore glacier without a tour? If not can you suggest a cheap one?
Great question! Stick around, lot of videos to come! Thanks for watching! :)
I was planning a photography trip for 7 days. Just wondering the cost of something like that.
Well they're going to those places now ;)
Wait, what’s the name of your favorite waterfall in Iceland? 😂 Pretty much using all your videos to map out our road trip next month
Impossible to choose a favorite`!
I went last year from Reykjavík to the south. Every waterfall had its own beauty/ memory. Going back this year and completing the ring road. Unfortunately I won’t have enough time to get to west fjords for that beautiful curtain waterfall.
least traveled*
They're not going to be less traveled once you post this. They'll be ruined like every other tourist trap.
