His company did not screen the app terms and conditions well enough to ensure that it complied with FB T&C However, neither did the users, because we never read terms and conditions.

The only question that matters!
How do I get a cut from MY info that's sold.
Wow. He really walked right into that question. Lol
He thinks he's smarter than everyone in the room.
probably because he is
then those simple questions wouldn't of tripped him up. these people may not be tech-savvy but they know when privacy has been tampered with.
agreed. Sen Durbin's poignant questions were like teaching a guilty/remorseful son a lesson on wisdom. "be honest and don't steal other people's money".
but doesn't make it right, KB. all the money in the world won't save your soul.
the truth whats a soul
if you dont think apple is doing the same thing plus facial recognition guess again!
Of course they are.. Have any of you read any policy agreement before clicking Continued? Not just with fb, but with apple, Microsoft, game apps, cell phone policy agreements, Xbox, PS3, PS4 policy agreements???? Lmfao if you ever have that chance you'd probably disconnect from any and all electronics other than an old skool TV vhs and DVD player. These policy agreements sound pretty scary, a lot some of it will sound like legal mumbo jumbo too
What facial recognition are you talking about ? If it’s FaceID, that data is stored in Secure Enclave only accessible by TrueDepth hardware (it works the same way as TouchID)
Saritpong Bunseng 😂😂👆🏾 so naive
Saritpong Bunseng that is what they want to believe you.Privacy is a Big joke!
Idiots like you are the problem
Mark is socially awkward 😂😂drinking the water every time things get tough
3.50 minutes, why would they need to store messages to operate the service?
Messenger kids is probably some kind of sick ring to see if your kid is good enough to steal. 🤬
THANK YOU LAWMAKERS!!!
Zuckerberg: Hahahaha! Now I see you're trying to use your Shtoyle over mine!
the damage is irreversible.
Honestly I think FB listens in on my conversations. I was talking to my SO about getting a dog, and then bam, ads on Facebook started showing ads for dog food. (I don’t have a dog, just brought up maybe having one in the future) I actually don’t own any animals.
This happened several times. Then as a test I started talking about cats (don’t have one, never want one)
Bam, ads about cat food came up, and ads for pet insurance.
Where you was talking or texting... i mean app name.....
All of a sudden that wasn't such a funny question
3:10 that lady in GREEN..😟
Creepy 👀
Does this happen to anyone? when ever we are looking at a product in other places and all the sudden the same product will appear in your FB wall..... happens to me so many times....
finally a competent senator
In the product itself? Is that why I can not mass delete anything in Facebook? I can deactivate and it is still stored or I can take hours a day for a few weeks to manually delete posts, pictures etc.
Is he human?
He don't have friend such a poor baby
No
He nailed it that senator what a smart guy!
So what is going on about the facebook thing i still do not understand
XGN Durk2.0 Your privacy rights are being third partied out. Your privacy is being compromised. And it's a way for Facebook to bleed money back into their pocket but using your page for there profitable gaining. They win and you lose while your privacy is compromised.
Scott Taylor so he should be arrested yes or no?
XGN Durk2.0 Every state has different laws every country has different laws. So who gets to arrest him? I really don't care either I don't have a Facebook account. But if my personal info is being used in a profitable way that is exposing my privacy. Well yes somebody should be held responsible.
Scott Taylor and u agree with terms and condition facebook give. Dont be idiot, u give it and blame the one use it?
Some users installed a 3rd party personality-quiz app called “This Is Your Digital Life”. You would think they would have known by the name that it was collecting their data, but nope people are always installing these quiz apps and posting the result to their FB page.
At any rate the company that owned the app used the data collect political information and pass it on. Zuckerberg is in trouble because it was written in the app's terms that the were collecting the data. His company did not screen the app terms and conditions well enough to ensure that it complied with FB T&C However, neither did the users, because we never read terms and conditions.
Got nervous looking around
I don't think he realizes that calling the guy "Senator" over and over doesn't come off as respectful.
Actually it is, you never address someone of a higher office by their name.
+The Unoriginal Hacks - It's more the repetition I was referring to. He says "Senator" just about every other sentence. Makes him sound phony.
Scott K watched too many court drama probably.
who cares lol
Jão - I care just enough to comment. Just like you.
The only senator who really send the right message across and knows what this is about.
But they own instagram too thoughhhh
Yeah and Whatsapp.
Right question sir
Actually he's intelligent
He used the trick, to take a sip of water when you are asked a question, so you get a greater time to answer that question
No, it just shows he is uncomfortable with the situation, its human psychology.
@@_nlcholas bro you don't know about this, try to check it out
Google hangouts collect them, your ISP collects them, anyone who is provider you the messaging or voice call or any information exchange service, can collect that information. They could explicitly say they don't but they can easily do so.
He always looks like you're about to take his popsicle away .
He doesn't have a soul he sold out to the evil one
Has anyone ever seen personalized ADS about products or services, they've only ever SPOKEN about, and not once searched online for? Food for thought. They're always listening, not just Facebook, the government too.
Was laughing and after a bit grabs a glass of water 😂
Google should be grilled like this too
.
