+Ben Giese great video. is there English subtitles for this video? there are a few words that I cannot comprehend. I would love to know what they are saying entirely. thank you, and God bless. at minute 1:43 for example, is she saying self-assured?
Hi Daniel: Thank you so much.!!! She says in 1.41-43 "My flesh may cry out, but I will not give into the selfish urge"- We do not have a subtitle version, but we do have a script. Email me at giesefinancialdesign@hawaii.rr.com. Thank you so much for your kinds words once again! God Bless!
Hey Ben, This video is very well done! Thanks for sharing. Would I be permitted to use this during my summer camp program? Our theme this summer is on running the race and pursuing the prize which is Jesus Christ.
I LOVE THIS!! Is there anyway that I could get an mp3 version of this?? I want to play it for a talk I’m giving but can’t show a video. Would you mind to help me out!!?? I would appreciate it!
Hi Ben, I was wondering if I could use this as an opener for my school's Chapel service? This is terrific. This school year we are focusing on what it means to be a faithful disciple of Christ.
Hi! Our city is hosting the Commonwealth Games this week and this would work perfectly for the start of our worship program this weekend. May I use it, please?
Thanks so much! It went really, really well. We had one of the teenagers pretend to be a marathon runner. Throughout the program he ran down the aisle, across the stage and out the door 5 times, each time getting slower and slower, until the last time he collapsed on the stage, right at the end of the sermon. The pastor (my husband) spoke about how in our strength, we fall short, but with Jesus, anything is possible, and he picked the runner up and helped him to the finish line. Your video helped us set up the theme for the day beautifully. Thank you!
Very cool. Thank you so much for encouraging me with your creative program idea! Much blessing to you, your husband- I am so happy that we could play a small part in your service and ministry.
Ben, May I use this piece for our New Faith Communities program at the NC Conference of the UMC annual event? The program is Wed evening June 12, 2013 at 7:30 pm EDT. It would perfectly complement our Run the Race theme. Very sincerely, Jeff Severt, Exec. Dir of New Faith Communities.
Ben Giese Thank-you Ben, It fit perfectly with our conference which was called Run His Race. Nice capstone to my presentation: "You have a place in His Mission Race!"
Hi I really like the background music, can you please tell me what song it is ? My church is hosting a skit competition and I think the background music is perfect for the skit.
Dear Ben. This was just awesome! I would like to ask for your permission to use this video in my sermon this coming Sunday here in Sweden since it would fit perfectly with my message! The thing is that all sermons are recorded and even televised so I would need permission from the creator in order to be able to show this. I think it would bless thousands!!! I really hope you can answer :)
Below is everytime Jesus Christ used the word Disciple The disciple is not above master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more them of his household? And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple: The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master. If any come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples. And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest. But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter. When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own . And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus. Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre. So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre. Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt fisher's coat , (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea. Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what to thee?
Jesus was created.......he was not creator.....that was his Almighty heavenly Father who created an only begotten son.....there is no trinity. Jesus is NOT Almighty God.
Indeed Jesus has been my marathon runner all my life and will continue to do so forever and ever Amen.
I Praise God for the believers that have a heart for people enough to make this very encouraging message. Thank you and God Bless!!
