Trish, I thought I was saved, but I did not get saved on April 14th. I thought I was saved; how can I be so stupid and deceived? I thought I was saved. I now feel Jesus surrounding me since April 14th. It was this play, and also a sermon my pastor called his sermon pattern is greater than passion. I had passion, but not the pattern.

PART 1: Hi! If I may, I would like to answer your question and prayfully, bring some clarity. Yes, there is, indeed, the seal (of the Holy Spirit) for the promise....which is eternal life (1 John 2:25). Jesus said "whoever comes to me, I will by no means cast out!" (John 6:37). So if it is possible to lose salvation..it is not because Jesus took it back! Jesus never does the "breaking up" in a relationship! Therefore it is not even a loss of salvation...but a recantation of it. (Hebrews 6:2-6) speaks on the impossibility for those who have "tasted the heavenly gifts, and became partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God,...." to be renewed again to repentance once they turn away. (not backsliding, but deliberate denouncement of Jesus). (Hebrews 3:12) warns us not to have a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. (Matt 24:13) says that he who endures to the "end" shall be saved.
PART 2: So as we know, we must continue to build ourselves up in our most holy faith (Jude 1:20), because the walk with Christ is a continuance of the faith, which must be built and edified daily! I find it interesting that right after Jesus warned "Not everyone who says to Me 'Lord Lord', shall enter the Kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." (Matt 7:21), that He gave the parable of a house being built on the rock and a house being built on sand. (Matt 7:24-27). The house built on the rock endured the disturbances of life...however, anybody who deliberately turns from Jesus, renouncing Him...tears down their own house, in which they are no longer protected from this life's elements or the one thereafter! So in conclusion...salvation comes down to the status of the individual's heart (Romans 10:9-10)...which only God truly knows. God bless you and I hope this helps!

Then check this out, it says “having a form of godliness, but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”

And so last Sunday, you actually were thinking about it a little harder, but you didn’t. You ignored the promptings of the Holy Spirit baby. So guess what…I can’t let that happen. Trish, I thought I was saved, but I did not get saved on April 14th. I thought I was saved; how can I be so stupid and deceived? I thought I was saved. I now feel Jesus surrounding me since April 14th. It was this play, and also a sermon my pastor called his sermon pattern is greater than passion. I had passion, but not the pattern.
So glad God used this drama to reach you, and you now have true assurance of salvation.

Hi, I have question, many Christian’s thought the promise of Holy Spirit sealed eternal life forever won’t lose salvation?? Ephesians 1:13???
PART 1: Hi! If I may, I would like to answer your question and prayfully, bring some clarity. Yes, there is, indeed, the seal (of the Holy Spirit) for the promise....which is eternal life (1 John 2:25). Jesus said "whoever comes to me, I will by no means cast out!" (John 6:37). So if it is possible to lose salvation..it is not because Jesus took it back! Jesus never does the "breaking up" in a relationship! Therefore it is not even a loss of salvation...but a recantation of it. (Hebrews 6:2-6) speaks on the impossibility for those who have "tasted the heavenly gifts, and became partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God,...." to be renewed again to repentance once they turn away. (not backsliding, but deliberate denouncement of Jesus). (Hebrews 3:12) warns us not to have a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. (Matt 24:13) says that he who endures to the "end" shall be saved.
PART 2: So as we know, we must continue to build ourselves up in our most holy faith (Jude 1:20), because the walk with Christ is a continuance of the faith, which must be built and edified daily! I find it interesting that right after Jesus warned "Not everyone who says to Me 'Lord Lord', shall enter the Kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." (Matt 7:21), that He gave the parable of a house being built on the rock and a house being built on sand. (Matt 7:24-27). The house built on the rock endured the disturbances of life...however, anybody who deliberately turns from Jesus, renouncing Him...tears down their own house, in which they are no longer protected from this life's elements or the one thereafter! So in conclusion...salvation comes down to the status of the individual's heart (Romans 10:9-10)...which only God truly knows. God bless you and I hope this helps!
