@@Firefly256 you can actually barely hit her through the door and under the arena in a specific spot. Yes your likely to bounce off and not hit her at all but it can still be done.
You should do a stream where you use teleport every 3 min AND room randomiser. It would be insane to traverse throughout the game and overall I think a cool and fun challenge.
As someone who owns hollowknight but has never beaten it I don't know what 90% of the items are I didn't even realize there was a mantis claw in the game until I watched a speed run like last week

I couldn't even tell you where to get mantis claw atm lmao, I'm pretty much going in 100% blind besides the speedruns but watching the speed runs makes me want to finally beat the game lol
You're in for a real treat! I'm pretty sure all of us had a mess of a first playthrough where we all got lost and stuck and had a rough time with the bosses, but once you get the hang of it, it _really_ gets fun. And it's always so nice to see new folks getting in on it!

I did the rando recently (finished today) and I literally got everything I could, 2 lvl spells (spcept ddark), shade cloak, Void Heart, wings etc. All except claw. I got stuck and had to seek help in the modding server. I learned about the log and found the transitions I didn't check yet. From the I found new location - Crystal Peak, collected Stag Nest stag and ehre I finally found claw. It was crazy. That feeling when you got an idea. You think you outsmarted the game, but then you realize that to go through the plac you need something you don't have. That Sanctum was so this. That Godhome Hornet into Cast-off shell was so funny, lol. Lmao. Game gave you right mantis claw at the end 😂
