Catching White Bass on the Ohio River

We're launched from the Shawnee Park Boat Ramp, just west of Louisville, and hit the Ohio River in hopes of catching some fish! The river was a slightly stained from recent rain, but we did manage to find a tributary with slightly cleaner and warmer water... We threw small swimbaits on 1/8-1/4 oz jig heads and used L-M power spinning rods.
