- Join Ignacio Ash from Belize Ecological Growers Association of Toledo District Belize (BEGAT) for a tour of his food forest. Ignacio shares about edible and medicinal plants that he is growing on his farm. His farm is a beautiful example of Indigenous Mayan Permaculture Food Forests.
Very educative ! I built my house in my 7year old food forest .Its like living in paradise. Every one who has the land should try it !

I am from Kerala, which is a tropical region on the southern part of India. This farm which is showing is exactly a replica of my region. I am wondering how the culture, craft, food and the trees are the same in the extremly a different continent.
Monoculture in planting is a disaster for the environment and for human health, on the other hand polyculture as it is practiced in permaculture is very good for the environment and for human and animals health.
He is like a walking encylopedia. Great knowledge. Thank you.
