But tbh I don’t really think about the final season (and original comment was made pre final season) as I wasn’t a fan and it was unnecessarily problematic with aged Henry, others hadn’t aged etc. Henry was basically the same age as Regina who is he grandmothers step Mum. The time jumps were too tiresome.

Parilla and Carlyle were absolutely brilliant together. I would love to see them act together again. They brought a life to their characters that, in my opinion, no one else came close to.
Agreed!!! I’ve never seen another version of Rumplestilskin but they will have big shoes to fill if this character is brought to live action again. Also I love Gal Gadot but Lana set the bar so high as The Evil Queen.
I love her 'what'. From her POV, this whole thing is an ongoing, unfolding nightmare. First her son discovers that the curse is real and that she is the Evil Queen. Then he brings in his birth mother with the specific intention of breaking her curse, and she discovers that her precious Henry is actually a _Charming_, and more or less on their side. For Regina, that's the stuff of nightmares. Then, just as she's starting to adjust to that, she discovers that Henry is also a Stiltskin. From her POV it's a nightmare that just won't stop. Oddly enough, though, nobody in town seem sympathetic...
I think it was also due to the fact Henry’s father was now here, with his biological mother in the town. So Henry would spend more time with his biological parents and forget about Regina
I love how these two are such awkward parents that they feel the need to spy on their children like weirdos rather than going up to talk to them like normal human beings. I mean, Rumple knows Bae is kind of pissed off at him, but later Neal chews him out for "disappearing." He didn't disappear, Bae, he was watching you from the bushes!
When you're abandoned by your parents or were never "good enough" for a controlling parent, you don't feel confident in being accepted by anyone, even your kids. Especially since both of their children rejected them before. Neal and Henry were totally justified in that rejection, but the awkward hovering makes sense, too.
Funny how Regina says that Rumple's dark heart always wins out in the end. In the end of the show, Rumple was the one with the redemption arc and saved Hook
I remember first watching these scene like "aw nah Regina isn't right, she's just upset" but after the newest finale I have to look back and realise that Regina was correct, Rumple always follows his dark heart and seeks the power.
You've got to love the family connections on this show, LOL. Anyone reminded of the song "I'm My own Grandpa?" That song sums up this show rather nicely ;-)
Notice how Rumple and Regina 'pull each other down'. Whenever one of them does, or starts to do, something good, the other will usually tend to denigrate it, tell the other that it's useless, they'll never be accepted, or otherwise undercut it. Here Regina tells him he can't ever be accepted, after Regina saves Snow and Emma the first thing Rumple does is gloat and remind her that she's reunited Henry and her rival. Either one will tell the other that they can never be forgiven, never accepted, never loved. There are other examples, too. It's as if neither one can stand to see the other turn away from the darkness. The irony, of course, is that they both _would_ eventually be accepted and forgiven by their loved ones...if they were willing to genuinely cross over.

See Neal holding a sword, made me realize one thing. What about Hook being sort of father remplacement for Neal/Baelfire? He knows how fight with a sword, he knows how to sail a pirate ship (think Hook teached him). Remember that Hook was in love with his mother and then just after her death he decided to go in Neverland where was Baelfire. Coincidence? I don't think so.
Except for Cora being a complete nit, Zelena and Regina would have been Rumple's daughters (the firstborn in their first deal, his child in their second deal). But nooo.

Peter Pan is not Neal. Because Peter Pan is Rumples father and Neal is Rumples kid. Fate is entrusting for one. Everything is woven together. If Rumple didn't hurt himself he would of never been branded a coward and his wife wouldn't of left him. If Neal never have been drafted to the war then Rumple wouldn't wanted to kill the Dark One which he wanted to to save his son. And Rumple never would of turned evil, chose magic over Neal let him fall in a magical hole. Neal met the darlings went to live with his step Father Hook since his mom and hook got married. And never went to Never land. Got off the island to meet Emma and have their son Henry. If Snow never said anything to Cora about Regina and Daniel then the curse wouldn't of been placed by Regina's hated tord's Snow. Look at everything and more that had to do with the Savior and Henry.
I think people forget that the key aspect of rape is coercion. By taking his heart, she's basically holding him at gunpoint and saying "screw me or I'll kill you" (note that later in the season she does just that). It's hard to get past the double-standard, but at the end of the day, whatever the A&E say, they wrote her as a rapist with a crush. To be honest, Regina to me is so screwed up that she warrants some forgiveness/sympathy, but actions should have consequences regardless.
Do you realize that always in the next scene if they leave it on a cliffhanger it opens with the person who answers the question? After Regina’s last line the next shot shows belle
here's an idea I just thought of because of this almost everytime it mentions fate did this fate did that it would be good if in an episode/season they introduced fate as a person who's the most powerful person even more than dark one/ merlin
@@NadeemAhmed-de3py like did he say fate was a person? but yeah, they probably just didn't have room to fit someone like fate into the overall narrative, they could've tried fitting her in with the whole dark fairy plot and killing Emma and taking her magic to re-write the laws of magic, I feel like fate would factor in to how the laws were originally written, or at least with the whole shears of destiny.
Emma asks her to return the favor she owed her many years ago, of making her foster parents give her back to the one place she hated growing up in. This time, Emma refers Tink as her best friend, she was heartbroken and she didn't want the baby [Henry], told Tink she would find him a home where he would be happy. However, the moment where Tink asked Emma who the father was known as Neal Cassady. Tink was shocked, didn't respond except Tink promised she would find Emma's son a home... SB.
I guess that in the finale or the next season, Tink will show up while the gang are in NL. Emma pretends that she doesn't know her, but Neal does and so coincidentally Rumple as well. This would probably be something with Henry, and Emma says, Tink... where funny enough, but then Neal says, Mom. [If he's still around in S3]
Before this happened, Tink found herself when Emma was afraid to be alone, so Tink showed up as a fairy, her foster parents didn't believe her when she said 'Fairies were real' and one was in her room. That's why they gave her back, i guess this was when Emma stopped believing in magic. somehow this was before she found out that her daughter, 'Mother Superior' was sent to SB in the curse and she saw her, but Blue had no idea who she was... suddenly she ran into Rumplestiltskin.
There is interesting mirroring between this scene and the scene in Regina's crypt between them...I think you could argue both these characters have their hypocritical moments with each other, but Rumple is generally better at actually taking ownership for his bad deeds. I can respect that more than Regina's constant projecting.
imagine for a second, imagine if tinkerbell found emma when she was a baby, she had been following the charmings for many years, bcos she guided snow through the loss of losing her mother. but in reality, she found out emma was going to be the saviour to break a curse that was meant to find rumples son. tink knew about this. [remember when emma said in 1x02 to henry, that her fosterr parents had her for three years until they gave her back to the foster care...]
Both are confused and Emma asks the question to Neal, and he says its a 'long story' where Rumple starts to put all the pieces together and figures out as Tink starts freaking out when she sees Rumple. Bcos when he said, "Fate has a sense of humor" --- I think he meant Tink. But I'm guessing, she came up with another name besides her real name, when he was Gold. She lft SB bcos she had another son named 'you know who***'. I like how Rumple said, "Miss Swan and my son.."

I think she was more upset because Gold procured the adoption for her. So she thought Gold must have known the truth the entire time, and had the whole thing planned from the start.
I think she's pissed because she's really the only one who didn't have a biological connection to Henry. Emma, Snow and Charming all did, and then she finds out Rumple, of all people does too.
Or should I say, Mr. Gold. After meeting the one man she knew was known as The Dark One himself, she knew he had no idea what she was talking about. She thought by mentioning Emma's name would jog his memory, but it didn't work. So she left SB again before she had a secret of her own. Tink knew exactly who his son was, and he had no idea that she knew where he was... *hint hint hint* After she left SB, she returns many years later as Emma's foster mother 12 years ago, Emma recognises her.
i wish Adam&Eddy will explain how Gold got/found Henry in Boston.. who told him where to find a boy for Regina.. I'm sure someone told him, or at least pushed 'Rumple' (someone from FTL) into the right direction, bcos it has to be the same person who told August to break up Swanfire... how else could this have happened?! I mean, in 3x09 SaveHenry episode, didn't really explain much either.. there's still a little gap missing between how Gold got Henry, who told Regina where to find him in Boston... I'm sure it'ssomeone close to Rumple's past.. that we haven't seen yet. S4 perhaps?!!!

I mean, Regina was right in S1E2 when she tells Gold that him finding Henry wasn't an accident... he found Henry for her... he procured Henry for Regina as she says it.. then here when Gold tells Regina that Neal is Henry's Father, he says that Fate has a sense of humor... to the point. He knows exactly who told him where to find a boy for Regina. It could the same person who got August to break up Swanfire, bcos this person was the one who told August that Neal's real name was Baelfire. Even in W2SB episode, Gold taps his hand on the counter in his shop.. which could've been the adoption papers with Henry's description on it and his location.. that couldn't be a coincidence. Rumple doesn't believe in them, so come SaveHenry episode.. it explained how much further on Regina's part... but not so much on Rumple's... he's hiding something. Even today, every time I see this scene in Lacey's episode. He's right about this, Fate had a sense of humor for bringing Henry in the middle of this. This person must've been outside Emma's delivery room.. who took charged as one of the closed adoption agencies located in Boston. This person took 'Henry' there and waited for the right moment, bcos this person knew 'the boy' was The Dark One's grandson. This person made the mistake of breaking up Swanfire... becos the price of doing so, was that Henry was born, nine months later.. (just a Theory, no one has to agree with it, just my opinion and mine alone.. that's unless everyone thought of the same thing as I did) ...Thanks :)
I know it could also be the same person who told young Baelfire how to escape from Neverland with Pan's shadow, or better yet forced Pan to let him go or else he wouldn't get the boy he was looking for, which is what he tells Neal that Pan let him go, because it was where Baelfire was supposed to be. This all has to be connected somehow, if you rewatch these scenes. I'm guessing by the time, Baelfire left Neverland, this same person took Pan's heart from his chest temporary as leverage... which meant why Wendy said, Pan was dying and why he needed Henry's heart.. this could also be another theory too. I mean, how else did Pan find Henry in Boston as a baby unless the Darling brothers were secretly following Neal (who both didn't realise it was the Adult Baelfire), or that this person was the one spying on Swanfire at the time when August broke them up on purpose... thus person who helped Baelfire become Neal? O.O or how Pan found Henry in Storybrooke unless this same person warned Pan or that he had to hear it for himself, which meant the Home Office (meaning Felix) confirms the thought of Henry in Storybrooke and that's why Gremara kidnapped him and took him to Neverland on H.Os orders only that they died in the end XD or how about when Hook found Gold in NYC, could be the same person also who knew he had beef against Rumple in FTL/SB. Okay I'm done :) I mean, it must all connect the dots somehow right?!!!

When you're abandoned by your parents or were never "good enough" for a controlling parent, you don't feel confident in being accepted by anyone, even your kids. Especially since both of their children rejected them before. Neal and Henry were totally justified in that rejection, but the awkward hovering makes sense, too.
Funny how Regina says that Rumple's dark heart always wins out in the end. In the end of the show, Rumple was the one with the redemption arc and saved Hook
I remember first watching these scene like "aw nah Regina isn't right, she's just upset" but after the newest finale I have to look back and realise that Regina was correct, Rumple always follows his dark heart and seeks the power.

It's easier than fate or chance being the one in charge. She can reason with her mentor. She can't reason with fate.
Notice how Rumple and Regina 'pull each other down'. Whenever one of them does, or starts to do, something good, the other will usually tend to denigrate it, tell the other that it's useless, they'll never be accepted, or otherwise undercut it. Here Regina tells him he can't ever be accepted, after Regina saves Snow and Emma the first thing Rumple does is gloat and remind her that she's reunited Henry and her rival. Either one will tell the other that they can never be forgiven, never accepted, never loved. There are other examples, too. It's as if neither one can stand to see the other turn away from the darkness. The irony, of course, is that they both _would_ eventually be accepted and forgiven by their loved ones...if they were willing to genuinely cross over.

I think people forget that the key aspect of rape is coercion. By taking his heart, she's basically holding him at gunpoint and saying "screw me or I'll kill you" (note that later in the season she does just that). It's hard to get past the double-standard, but at the end of the day, whatever the A&E say, they wrote her as a rapist with a crush.
To be honest, Regina to me is so screwed up that she warrants some forgiveness/sympathy, but actions should have consequences regardless.

Before this happened, Tink found herself when Emma was afraid to be alone, so Tink showed up as a fairy, her foster parents didn't believe her when she said 'Fairies were real' and one was in her room. That's why they gave her back, i guess this was when Emma stopped believing in magic. somehow this was before she found out that her daughter, 'Mother Superior' was sent to SB in the curse and she saw her, but Blue had no idea who she was... suddenly she ran into Rumplestiltskin.
There is interesting mirroring between this scene and the scene in Regina's crypt between them...I think you could argue both these characters have their hypocritical moments with each other, but Rumple is generally better at actually taking ownership for his bad deeds. I can respect that more than Regina's constant projecting.
imagine for a second, imagine if tinkerbell found emma when she was a baby, she had been following the charmings for many years, bcos she guided snow through the loss of losing her mother. but in reality, she found out emma was going to be the saviour to break a curse that was meant to find rumples son. tink knew about this. [remember when emma said in 1x02 to henry, that her fosterr parents had her for three years until they gave her back to the foster care...]

Tink knew exactly who his son was, and he had no idea that she knew where he was... *hint hint hint* After she left SB, she returns many years later as Emma's foster mother 12 years ago, Emma recognises her.

I'm sure someone told him, or at least pushed 'Rumple' (someone from FTL) into the right direction, bcos it has to be the same person who told August to break up Swanfire... how else could this have happened?! I mean, in 3x09 SaveHenry episode, didn't really explain much either.. there's still a little gap missing between how Gold got Henry, who told Regina where to find him in Boston... I mean, Regina was right in S1E2 when she tells Gold that him finding Henry wasn't an accident... he found Henry for her... he procured Henry for Regina as she says it.. then here when Gold tells Regina that Neal is Henry's Father, he says that Fate has a sense of humor... to the point. He knows exactly who told him where to find a boy for Regina. It could the same person who got August to break up Swanfire, bcos this person was the one who told August that Neal's real name was Baelfire. Even in W2SB episode, Gold taps his hand on the counter in his shop.. which could've been the adoption papers with Henry's description on it and his location.. that couldn't be a coincidence. Rumple doesn't believe in them, so come SaveHenry episode.. it explained how much further on Regina's part... but not so much on Rumple's... he's hiding something. Even today, every time I see this scene in Lacey's episode. He's right about this, Fate had a sense of humor for bringing Henry in the middle of this. This person must've been outside Emma's delivery room.. who took charged as one of the closed adoption agencies located in Boston. This person took 'Henry' there and waited for the right moment, bcos this person knew 'the boy' was The Dark One's grandson. This person made the mistake of breaking up Swanfire... becos the price of doing so, was that Henry was born, nine months later.. (just a Theory, no one has to agree with it, just my opinion and mine alone.. that's unless everyone thought of the same thing as I did) ...Thanks :)

I know it could also be the same person who told young Baelfire how to escape from Neverland with Pan's shadow, or better yet forced Pan to let him go or else he wouldn't get the boy he was looking for, which is what he tells Neal that Pan let him go, because it was where Baelfire was supposed to be. This all has to be connected somehow, if you rewatch these scenes. I'm guessing by the time, Baelfire left Neverland, this same person took Pan's heart from his chest temporary as leverage... which meant why Wendy said, Pan was dying and why he needed Henry's heart.. this could also be another theory too. I mean, how else did Pan find Henry in Boston as a baby unless the Darling brothers were secretly following Neal (who both didn't realise it was the Adult Baelfire), or that this person was the one spying on Swanfire at the time when August broke them up on purpose... thus person who helped Baelfire become Neal? O.O or how Pan found Henry in Storybrooke unless this same person warned Pan or that he had to hear it for himself, which meant the Home Office (meaning Felix) confirms the thought of Henry in Storybrooke and that's why Gremara kidnapped him and took him to Neverland on H.Os orders only that they died in the end XD or how about when Hook found Gold in NYC, could be the same person also who knew he had beef against Rumple in FTL/SB. So she took him to SB, knowing Mr. Gold, not Rumple would never know the truth of Henry's true identity, his birthright as Rumple's grandson. It was her secret kept from Rumpelstiltskin. After she gave Gold, Henry... she ran away like hell. But, she didn't know he gave Henry to Regina. [I'm guessing Gold knows how he really got Henry, but was unaware that he was his grandfather]

Exactly. I’ve always believed that Rumple was a necessary evil while Regina wasn’t. Majority of the things Rumple has done, I can actually understand and agree with. I can’t say the same for Regina.
