Loved the reference to the silent asylum patient always mopping. Reminded me of the time Jefferson went to rescue Belle in Season 1 and he told him to stay quiet. Wonderful little touch. And the dialogue in this scene is some of the best Zelena exchanges so far! She's crazy, yes, but I think she's the only one who can dish it out to Emma and take it to! I love how everyone reacts and interacts with Dark Emma. You get to see the formerly unseen sides of their characters and I like that.

Saira Ramjit Regina, Rumple and I assume a few others (can't recall though) have ALL stated "Evil isn't born, it's made", Rumple commited acts of evil because of his Son/Cowardice (combination of both) but he did have good intentions towards the people he loved.
Regina became evil because of what she was made to believe the world was like, cruel and cold because, not only did she lose Daniel (her first True Love) but she lost him to someone who she loved and Rumple's main motivation was to stop this from ever happening again and push her down the dark path.

Ah the Dark Swan, what a missed opportunity of a character arc. “Ah yes I was good the entire time. It just looked like I was evil.”
6980MulhollandDrive Yeah there’s definitely something in there about an unwillingness to make your lead unattractive. Rumplestiltskin became physically repulsive as the Dark One.
This season should have been an in-depth character study of Emma, what dark magic really is and the toll it takes one someone who can do something they believe needs doing even when they know they shouldn’t. The idea at the end of the season that she embraced the Dark One mantle to save Hook was a good one. All the Dark Ones we see take the power for a good reason and become consumed with it as the power becomes more important to them than whatever it was they were trying to save. This entire arc was essentially good ideas that entirely failed to be established as a cohesive whole. I mean the idea that the Dark One dagger is the tip of Excalibur was brilliant but they did basically nothing with that revelation.

I think after she touched the storybook and realised Henry was telling the truth, she would’ve figured out that Graham didn’t just have a heart attack, it’s a shame that we never got a scene of Emma confronting her about it, or Regina apologising for it.

The thing is Emma was very smart she knew Zelena wouldn’t go for it she was asking nicely though this was never about the deal the food was laced with dark magic to speed up the pregnancy so zelena wasn’t that smart she may be wicked but she isn’t very smart Emma was playing her all along she was just being nice to see if they would want to work together and so she could take zelena after she gave birth
is it sad that I was on Zelena's side when she told Emma that she knows what its liked to be burned by a mother and not to expect his forgiveness anytime soon?

Seeing Jennifer Morrison as the villain is kinda scary and unnerving tbh... I'm used to seeing her as kind hearted Dr. Cameron and the other clips I've seen of her are mainly clips of her as unsure, confused Emma trying to figure things out
It’s so cool how everyone has such a history with eachother, sometimes you forget. For instance, when rewatching the show, I forgot Snow killed Cora and Zelena killed Neal.
technically, Zelena didnt kill Neal. She only lied the price. It was Neal's choice after all, he wanted to revive Rumple so he could help him back to Emma & Henry. yes, I damn sure he was aware there was a price for that action. He underestimated the price, it was cost his life.
Even though Zelena killed one of my favourite character (Neal), I love her, so she surely is such a great character💚

Because the onion rings were spelled to accelerate Zelena's pregnancy - all part of the Dark Swan's plan. Hence why she watched - probably calculating how effective her spell would be (Zelena didn't finish the last onion ring because Emma spoke too soon).

Eh, I'm not pinning Neal's death on Zelena. Unfortunately for her, she had to be the half-season villain when the writing wheel turned and they needed a quick way to rid themselves of Neal so they can push forward their pathetic Captain Swan relationship.

To be clear, Zelena never actually killed Neal, he made a choice to bring back Rumple. No one force him. Zelena didnt use magic to force him. Yes, Zelena purposely not telling him the price, but it wouldnt be any different, Neal would do it anyway no matter the price

Meh, this whole Emma- Dark Swan was disappointing. The little trailer they had made it seem like she was going to be truly evil but that didn’t happen. Hook was more of in line what I expected from Emma.

Like we already know that Lily contained all of Emma's darkness because of what Snow & Charming did to her as an egg, so how fun would a scene be where she pays Lily a visit & basically is like "Yo I want my darkness back, why not hand it over & you can experience what it's like not to have to deal with darkness all the time" or something of that vibe & Lily just goes fuck that nonsense bitch & basically questioning wtf happened to her. Like think of the fun back and forth, God what a missed opportunity (I know why the actress for Lily probably had other things going on at the time but like just a single scene with the 2 of them would've been awesome). Aside from that omg I love Zelena so much she is one of the best characters the show ever had.
