Muslims are now appealing to scientific consensus against Christians in the same way non Muslims do to us, so odd to see people have no grounding and just trying to win arguments with other lay people online. I am currently reading the Quran for the first time. I am currently not a Muslim however the more I keep learning the more excited I get. I was raised Christian but despite that I always felt empty.

I would also recommend you listen to recitations of it with english subtitles. It'll hit hard. My personal fav reciter is Mishary Al Afasy, maybe u can try him. I also went through the same journey of investigation and eventual acceptance 👍

For the Christians, in case you don't know what Tafsir is, tafsir is basically the explanation of the Quranic verses, one thing you guys have to know about Tafsir is that those explanations existed way before these accusations were a thing, so they were not made to answer your accusations at all, these are literally the way Muslims always understood Quran way before you guys misquote any of it's verses. It's not like how Christians come up with new explanations every now and then.

It's been the same ridiculous question and stupid claims, Don is just regurgitating what others have said.
This claim is refuted so many times in the past. All His claims are laughable and shows me He's so ignorant about islam.
Instead of having a conversation with a Muslim live (which is something he's done before, and got destroyed), Don likes to resort to reacting to pre-recorded videos, bashing Islam with himself, or having a conversation with a liberal atheist that thinks incest is fine (Apus) with pure emotion. It's also interesting how he cuts off some moments of the 3Muslims video due to it having evidence that he knows he cannot argue. Instead, he tells his viewers why they shouldn't become a Muslim.
The reactions on Don's videos speak for themselves. His validity in religious debates is non-existent and he is proving every time that he is an extremely emotional being who believes that a short period of research and help from liberal atheists and Christians (that have continuously been refuted by knowledgeable Muslims) is enough to start insulting another religion.
The best we can do is to pray and ask God to guide him, but I am skeptical of his ability to ever be honest with himself. Only God knows. May God guide him to the right path.

Great explanation! I also suggest for our brothers and sisters to check out professor Keith Moore, a Canadian scientist who clearly states that the embryological verses in the Quran is scientifically accurate and COULD NOT have been known in the 7th century.

Perhaps it would have been good if you guys had Sheikh Hamza in the "Young Don and Sneako" stream, Sheikh Uthman is way too aggressive (not in tone but approach). Now, Don is trying to come back with a vengeance because you guys big-slapped him in that stream instead of having a brotherly argument that could have made him rethink his position. Sheikh Uthman is good for arguing against people who have already taken the position of Islamophobe, or people who appeal to strong positions without discretionary thinking like Sneako, Salaam. - Liked!
It's pretty obvious at this point that hating on Islam and attacking it was lil Don's objective from the beginning. Sheikh Uthman was just a catalyst instead of wasting hours of back and forth arguing with him before he starts hating on Islam anyway. He was straight to the point. Don main motive is to milking fanatical Christian for money, he knew this by following his mentor; Hammertime Woods, C Princess etc. He knew attacking Islam would gain support from his Christian followers to donate more. Nothing about searching for the truth, he’s not even read the Bible cover to cover yet, he’s just 2 months old Christian!
Don does not think critically, he is an emotional thinker. He does not enter debate from a humble place in order to question and learn intellectually. Instead he is prob using this controversy for views to gain support of Islamophobias and turn his audience against Muslims. Very insincere man, not very self-aware and abit delusional.
Sheikh Uthman was perfect for the occasion. It is very clear to anyone with half a brain that Don entered that discussion in bad faith. He deserved to be dragged and scarred.
Sheikh Uthman never slandered him and never called his human trinitarian god a demon, and never called him a soldier of demon, and never called the husband of his god's mother a pedo for marrying a 12 year old ("adult" as Christians inconsistently claim).
Uthman was just presenting valid criticism from the bible, that's not agression.
Don has no excuse for his emotional overreaction.
3 things can happen when presented with the truth. You can accept it, you can ignore it or you lash out against it because of what you fear it implies about you.

[51:49] And the earth We have spread out, and how excellently do We prepare things!
[71:20] ‘And Allah has made the earth for you a wide expanse’
[71:21] ‘That you may traverse the open ways thereof.’
[78:7] Have We not made the earth a bed,
[79:31] And the earth, along with it, He spread forth.
Explanation
No doubt there are different meanings and interpretations of the above verses but it is very clear that Qur’an did not use any word that is even close to the meaning of “Flat Earth”.
This allegation is based on bad translations and interpretations of the Arabic words used by the Qur’an. Let’s analyze the various meanings of these words attributed to the earth.
Earth Made As Carpet; (Verses, 20:54, and 71:20) The Qur’an only compares the earth’s crust with a carpet. It is wrong to assume that carpet can only be put on an absolute flat surface. Carpet is generally put on a surface that is not very comfortable to walk on. The Qur’an merely mentions the earth’s crust as a carpet, without that we would not be able to survive because of the hot fluid and hostile environment beneath it. Here the Qur’an is not only logical but mentioning a scientific fact that was discovered by geologists centuries later.
Earth Has Been Spread Out; (Verses, 51:49, 78:7 and 79:31) In these verses Qur’an states the fact that the earth is spread out in a very spacious way and does not contain any implication that the earth is flat. Furthermore it means that that the earth is spread out and prepared for human beings and for their benefit, so that they can cultivate it, build dwellings in it and travel through it.
Qur’an Mentions Two Easts and Two Wests: Let’s not forget that the Qur’an has mentioned about the two easts and two wests in the following verses;
[55:18] The Lord of the two Easts and the Lord of the two Wests!
[55:19] Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will you twain deny?
[70:41] But nay! I swear by the Lord of the easts and of the wests, that We have the power.
In the verse, Lord of the two Easts, and Lord of the two Wests, there is sure evidence that the earth is round because two Easts and two Wests can come about only when the earth is round; for when the sun rises over one region it sets in another, and when it sets in one sphere it rises in another. Thus the actuality of two Easts and two Wests can clearly be seen.
Qur’an Mentions Sun and Moon in Orbits: Another proof that the Qur’an did not believe that earth was flat. Allah says in the following verses;
[21:34] And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, each gliding along in its orbit.
[31:30] Hast thou not seen that Allah makes the night pass into the day, and makes the day pass into the night, and He has pressed the sun and the moon into service; each pursuing its course till an appointed term, and that Allah is well aware of what you do?
Merging here means that the night slowly and gradually changes to day and vice versa. This phenomenon can only take place if the earth is spherical. If the earth was flat, there would have been a sudden change from night to day and from day to night.
Then the following verse also alludes to the spherical shape of the earth:
[39:6] He created the heavens and the earth in accordance with the requirements of wisdom. He makes the night to cover the day, and He makes the day to cover the night; and He has pressed the sun and the moon into service; each pursues its course until an appointed time. Hearken; it is He alone Who is the Mighty, the Great Forgiver.
The Arabic word used here is Kawwara meaning ‘to overlap’ or ‘to coil’- the way a turban is wound around the head. The overlapping or coiling of the day and night can only take place if the earth is spherical.
The Quran says that the overlapping of the night and the day makes a ball (sphere). Here also the Quran is referring to ALL MOVING: not only the sun and moon but also Earth. Because in Arabic grammar there is difference between the singular (one), binary (two) and plural (three or more). The reference to binary is “Kulahuma Yajreean كلاهما يجريان” however the Quran said “Kullon yajree كل يجري” referring to the plural (three or more). Since the sun and moon are just two but the Quran refers to three or more then according to the Quran all three move: sun, moon and Earth.
Summary
The Qur’an is not a book of science but a book of ‘signs’, i.e. ayat. There are more than six thousand verses, ‘signs’ in the Qur’an of which about 750 deals with science and knowledge.
The above discussion has proved that not only the Qur’an did not mention earth as flat but it declared the earth as round and sphere in so many verses.
I know don is a reason why a lot of Muslims and Christians are diving and Learning more about Islam I believe everything happens for a reason and don might be a reason why a lot of people will come to your channel and learn about our beautiful religion

As a Hanafi, it was very surprising that he quoted Imam Al Maturidi’s view of the ayah in his tafsir. I didn’t expect that from Br. Hamza.
As an Inductivist, and scientific realist I agreed heavily with brother Hamza in the latter portion of the conversation.

I don’t think that induction is justified external to scripture (Hume basically butchered all secular justifications of induction and this leads to problems when trying to justify the general uniformity of nature that we experience on a day to day basis) and also think that generalizations in regards to certain empirical observations are inherently confined to the development of tools for observation hence material conditions constrain the sciences and scientific development as there are many things that you cannot know if you don’t have a strong enough microscope or if you can’t take a trip to the bottom of the ocean.

@@atibarodriguez2.0 They are just schools of thought on how to interpret Islam in modern times, fatwahs etc. I don't think personally it is Islamically incorrect but it is what happened when Muslims spread around the world to different countries over time people may have lost original works and interpretations of the Quran, so on so forth. Not saying they do not exist today, but in older time periods they would not have been able to access the knowledge that would be preserved and recorded in Arabia or other places in the Muslim world. To identify as a hanafi on the other hand is a stretch for me. I would say we are all just muslims and that we should stick closely to the Quran and sunnah (via hadiths that have strong chain of narration etc) and for fatwahs regarding new unprecedented problems we may seek scholarly opinion. This is my observation in regards to what I think about Hanafi.

What is the issue if God is all knowing yet we have free will? Where is the contractiction? Also we Muslims do not believe in "absolute free will". We believe we have limited free will within the context of events that are outside of our control.
Knowledge of God has nothing to do with our Freewill to choose. Allah(swt) is beyond time, we aren't. So knowledge of the Future/Unseen has no imposition on our own freewill.

The back bone & ribs is in reference to when the baby is growing in the mothers womb. That's how the baby begins to grow. Verses in Surah Mulk & Suran Qayamah very distinctly show the difference between Sperm and when the embryo is but a mass of blood in a woman's womb.
