In this clip, Shaykh Uthman debates Young Don after he disrespected Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by accusing him of horrible lies out of arrogance and hatred. However, we hope it was genuinely out of ignorance but its very hard to assume that now. Shaykh Uthman’s heated debate with this Christian was legendary. In this stream, we bring on Shaykh Uthman Ibn Farooq (Sheikh Uthman) and Daniel Haqiqatjou (The Muslim Skeptic) to expose the lies of young don the sauce god (young don reborn is his second channel). Young don is openly atta*king islam and muslims. Young don calls muslims devils and he calls muslims demons, and says that we worship Satan (astagfirullah). All of this because his fragile ego was hurt after he lost his debate with Shaykh Uthman Ibn Farooq from One Message Foundation on Christianity, the bible and contradictions (check our upload from a few days ago). I’m not a fan of religions talking bad about other religions or beliefs..I have heard many unsettling things about the Muslim faith but am no wiser for it. The age in Islam is puberty. That's literally the point of puberty. Your body becomes ready for that specific activity.
We live in a society today that literally labels 20+yo College students kids. You can look up any story about a college athlete getting into trouble and the media pundits will say "he's still a kid he has a lot of growing to do" when in actual objective reality he was an adult after puberty ran its course.
We operate on a secular arbitrary standard legally today. Because Christian leaders don't know how to defend their faith they just acquiesce to secular standards. You have mostly Christians to thank for the idea that laws should be based on the whims of men instead of guidance from God.
Age of consent isn't even the same in all US states. Most states have it set at 16 and Zero states outlaw sex before marriage or butt sex or pron etc. In fact in the US it is legal for a man to make himself look like a woman and trick men into sleeping with him.
We accept no influence from such a deviant society on the issue of sex. None whatsoever. California even reduced the penalty for knowingly spreading STDs from 3-8 years in prison to 6 months.
We've been conditioned to accept certain standards without contemplating them and figuring out the rationale behind them. Someone like Don doesn't even have a rationale. In fact, you can see, in times of lower live expectancy, younger marriages, and then the procreation starting short, was the necessary - and at times, the noble thing to do.
It's also important to make the distinction between marriage and consummation. Marriage itself is not an inherently sexual thing. It's a joining of families and commitments. It was even normal in some cultures to decide who will marry who before the people were even born. For example "The first born boy of family X, will marry the first born girl of Family Y", and that would be agreed upon in advance. I'm not saying this is what happened in Islam, but rather it underscores the role marriage in the history of the world. Marriage nowadays has become a kind of narcissistic party for the couple, it's not really about the social, economic, political or religious bonds.
Then on the point of "Paedophilia". Paedophilia, is an obsession and/or predatory interest with having sexual relations with a pre-pubescent person. Clearly, marriage can happen without paedophilia occurring, because marriage doesn't automatically mean consummation. Don't they not wonder why the marriage happened, then there was a 3 year waiting period between the marriage of Aisha, and consummation? Because of course, at that point she had now come of age. She was not pre-pubescent.

I’m Christian myself and Don himself is going against the word he follows. You can’t judge others beliefs, you have to respect one another because at the end of the day we all believe in the divine creator of this world and universe. He talks with so much conviction but don’t take the time to learn and respect others beliefs. We can learn off of one another and gain much more respect learning other beliefs and relationships with the creator.

Also your point about the inaccuracy in recording age is a good angle.
If you search Muhammad's wives on wikipedia, you see on his first wife they're estimating up to 12 years in inaccuracy on her age (28-40 years old), but her living 44 years after Muhammad's death is what is allowing them to frame Muhammad this way.

I just want to add also, that in the early 1900’s in the US, it was very common for an older man and a younger girl to marry because the female was brought up learning to take care of the home, the children, everything it took to take care of a home and family, the man had to have a stable job, money saved, he had to be established before getting married. It wasn’t every case but it was very common. I do genealogy and that was very common up until this century. Im not saying that I condone older men being with young girls in any way, im just stating that this is the only century that it became unacceptable. Also, even in the early 1900’s and before, many people didn’t know their actual ages, especially in other countries, many places don’t use birth records, census, etc. my Great Grandmother was 15 her husband was 36, my Great grandmother thought she was 2 years younger than she actually was because she was sent away as a small child and was told a different age. These things have happened throughout history in every culture. Many slaves, Native American tribes also never knew their age or lineage. Learning history gives one a different perspective on these things

As a christian I am not going to sit down and argue with somebody over who's faith is real and who's is not. My Grand mother was Legally married to my grand father when she was 14 according to British law.. That was in the 1940s when Bangladesh was English colony. They had 10 kids. My grand pa passed away at early 40s from heart Attack. They didn't know their exact birthdays according to my grand mother.

What we do know from the account in Genesis 24 is that Rebekah was old enough to be going to the well to draw water on her own. That would go against her being 3 years old. She had enough understanding to realize that Abraham’s servant was a man of importance and so she offered to draw water for him. That goes against the idea of her being a 3 year old. They would not have the social understanding to do that.
And she was “old enough” then when the servant ask for her had, the parents brought her in and sought her wishes before promising her in marriage to Isaac.
Nothing in that indicates that she was a 3 year old. Or even a child of 12-14. She was someone old enough and mature enough to understand the world around her and to know her own mind on the subject of marriage.

The devil made the doctrine of the Trinity. God is One, always Has Been, always Will. trinity-type doctrines exist in other religions like Hinduism, the Trimurti with 3 false gods.
The Trinity doesn’t in any way deny that there is only one God. He simply reveals himself in 3 ways. Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God. The Holy Spirit is what dwells in believers guiding them on their path to righteousness. It’s not that confusing.

In my culture our grand parents was marriening their kids in the moment the babies was born and of course when this babies became adults and physically mature they consume their marriage and build family.

I pointed out to my son that Mary, in the Christian tradition, was around 12 or 13 when she became pregnant with Jesus and later married Joseph, who was said to be around 90 years old. I urged him to highlight the inconsistency in criticizing Prophet Muhammad's marriage when a similar age difference is accepted within Christian beliefs concerning Mary and Joseph.

I’m not a fan of Don…However, nowhere in the bible does it state that Rebecca was born at the same time that Sara died. That belief is based on false traditions, not the scriptures. Genesis 24:8 not only refers to Rebecca as a “woman” but it also says the marriage would be based on HER OWN CONSENT. She was not forced into it.

I was speaking to a Mexican guy recently and he said he doesn't know when his birthday actually is. his mom said he was born sometime before Christmas so they just put an arbitrary date in November for his birthday. He told me that his father's birthday was set in August but they think that it was probably sometime in March. Basically to this day there are cultures that don't even keep track of birthday so their age is basically guessed.
