Kind of peculiar that they don't notice props, because they notice player cars and stop for them. Something about props makes them no longer register it as an obstacle.
It's probably already in their updates list but in usual BeamNG fashion if they want to update a feature they will do it in a big way, so it may come in the future as like a part of a big update
Its definitely gotten better, as far as handling and pathfinding, but it appears some problems persist for years. It's a small team so I'm just happy the game exists.
Why I laughed every time when AI in thos game hiy an obstacle? 😂 But in all seriousness after THIS all those always disappointed hypocritical gamers will say something like "modern NFS is bad, GTA V traffic is bad" or something like that 😕.

not only players, they register all cars as obstacles, but not other props.
