These sanctions target ordinary Iranian people. Medicines are also not going into Iran. Ordinary people are suffering due to these tough sanctions. Political difference will remain but targeting ordinary people is crime of Human Rights. Imagine if such sanctions are imposed on US some point in time, would it be possible for people of United States to sustain the pressure of such sanctions. History repeats itself.

From the presentation, it seems the sanctions are biting the economy. As an oil-producing country, Iran is expected to LOWER not RAISE the price of oil which leads to hardship and mass protests. I read a report where unemployment alone is more than 40% and that is not good. It means a lot of graduates have no jobs and if they have no jobs, how do they survive? The question should be how Iran reverses this course. I don’t know of any nation that survives when isolated, not a single one including Cuba and N. Korea and if you doubt, please visit those countries and share your impression with us. The people in power might have enough to eat but the masses usually don’t and an idle mind is the devil’s workshop. Let’s all pray for Iran and her people because this is NOT a good news even though the media would want us to believe they are getting by just fine.

Really enjoying the the subtle vilifying of anti-Iranian states by Al Jazeera which belongs to Qatar, a country that happens to be an ally of Iran. The truth is, sanctions are hurting Iranians, I have friends in Iran whose currencies have fallen 10 times. So someone who was worth USD 10 million in Iran 5 years ago, today is worth USD 1 million! Judge for yourself if that is bad or not!

I like how the host starts the history between America and Iran with the US had long supported Iran’s monarchy, how convenient. The US sanctions against Iran are working quite well at making the world increasingly more dangerous and potentially catastrophic consequences.The sanctions also demonstrate how America uses the US dollar, as the global reserve currency, as a tool for it’s own geopolitical purposes, which kinda makes the former prospect impossible and therefore by default illegitimate.

The Iranian government raised the price of gasoline from $.06 to $.12. The subsidizing of gasoline was causing waste and too many vehicles on the road. The U.S. government taxes gasoline rather than subsidizing it.
