    That bike in a 250 guise would be a great little dual sport

    Hahahaha, made me chuckle at the twice the size comment1 😀
    Like you said earlier in the vid, you can change the tyres, and dirt tyres are generally a lot cheaper than decent road rubber! 🙂

    This looks like an awesome learner bike and sinnis should make a 300 dual sport to compete with the likes of honda CRF300 for sure.

    Does the Torro exhaust system fit this bike.

    Years ago many 125s also used to come as 150 175 or maybe 200 versions.
    Might be a good idea here.

    Nice set of Pirelli MT21's would sort that bike out

    i took my sinnis on a pay and play hard enduro day and its still the same wheel and tyre as that youre riding..... the front never felt right. bike did well but after riding the sherco fse 300....... i then reallly understood the front tyre grip of the cst sinnis wasnt great. felt like i was wallowing in the corners and that wishy washy feeling like a numbness at the front

      I have to agree, I do feel a tyre change, longer bars and maybe dropping the front a bit would help.

    I'd buy a 250 one of these. I loved my sinnis apache

      If they made a bigger one it would probably be close to 4k I doubt a lot of people wouldn’t spend that much

    Around here we have a good number of just unsurfaced tracks not your typical BOATs so bumpy and lumpy but nowhere near as challenging. So the bigger tyre would be advantage over the 17 inchers. Plus the big tyres just look better.

    Nice looking bike Sinnis , 125 would be up my street,light and flick able unlike those heavies out there. Would definitely change those tyre's for better knobblies.

    I had a similar ish feeling with the old version of this bike, I think it's the knoblies, and when I put proper continental tkc80 tyres on my apache the knoblies do tend to make your wheel feel a bit wobbly on the road esp. I think it's just knoblies in general, and the rocks getting in the gaps of the knoblies knocking your tyre around I'm guessing. That's usually why off road you put the tyre pressure down a bit. When riding my dr650 on road with fully off road tyres it was sorta the same weird feeling of the wheel fighting turning. These tyres are probably more off road to road ratio. Tkc80s on there which are sooo good off road but have very decent handling on road also.

    Do you know how this would compare to the Aprilia RX125?

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  2 роки тому +1

      Yes and no, I have reviewed a um DSR 125cc that's is the same bike as the as the Aprilia (as in they are both the same bike rebadged) ua-cam.com/video/yBhIs9EZCTg/v-deo.html

    My sinnis has the same feeling gear box it's almost unexplainable it's like short but long and 1st gear is almost an instant upshift

    dont you think as these bike have almost doubled in price now that its about time they put decent tyres on these things.the tyres havnt changed since the first pulse/apache

      Just how far back are you making comparisons? Sounds like 10+ years. What about euro 5? What about the different engines? The ABS units? Before extra shipping and inflation?

    • @donky75
      @donky75 2 роки тому

      @@spicy110 not sure what euro5 etc has to do with the crappy tyres they still put on these things.everything else has been upgraded,so why not decent tyres

    • @spicy110
      @spicy110  2 роки тому

      @@donky75 Beause when they brought the bike up to euro 5 regs it cost money and that is shown in the price along with inflation. I am sure they could add tires on and then add that cost on the price and then you will say it is too much. You cant have £5k+ worth of bike for £3.4k there has to be some thiings to make it cheaper.

    Hey Spicy quick question. How much would you and your subs pay for a custom built high security heavy duty motorbike locking system that can deter even the most determined bike thief armed with a disc cutter? this lock will fit most bikes from 125 cc to 1000+ cc
