- Kieran wanted a haircut that would keep his hair looking curly after a perm. He had ultra straight hair, so as the sides had grown out, the effect of the perm had worn off. Dan gave Kieran a skin fade on the back and sides, and added texture to the top, to keep the perm looking curly.

If you listen to the video, he had a perm and it was the growing out phase he cut into therefore, yes the perm is still present but likely not to be next cut if he sticks to the fade.

I’m glad he understood the part of leaving a drop on the back to compensate the length on the front. To many barbers go with a high fade which then creates a forward tilt. Pay attention to the head shape like this guy did well done :)
