How am I just seeing this? The YT algorithm shined upon me today. I remember listening to this one live. This and Infusion’s EM were my favs of 2004, and continue to be some of my favs of all time!
I remember hearing this in highschool in 2004 and it changed my life.
What I loved the most about this re-creation was the fact that Tony perfectly transitioned Planisphere' Symphotek into Oliver Prime's Radiance just like the original mix. One of the greatest transitions of all times.

This is the A&B sound that got me hooked. Looking forward to being at a live set like this one day soon!
I was lucky enough to be 17 when this mix came out, I remember blasting the burned CD repeatedly in my vauxhall Corsa, driving up and down the a9 to/from college in the summertime, it would pass the time immensely and take me on a wild journey. That first track always blew my mind especially. So much love for above and beyond! Had some dirt devil tunes on 12" too I believe! Glad to see you guys still rockin in 2023! Keep on keeping on!

The 2004 Essential Mix is one of the best essential mixes of all time. I get goosebumps listening to it again. I loved the the haunting vocals and Hollywood clips. I was working hard for my for my degree in London and this just transported me to another dimension. You guys are amazing. Big love.

Wow, I have listened to the original version A&B Essential Mix regularly ever since it was first aired on my, then MP3 player and later on my phone. My go to set for a nostalgic trip back to the good old days. Still haven’t been topped in my view. This set me up as a lifelong fan of A&B. Thank you, Tony, Paavo and Jono.

Listening to A&B since 2003/04 and onwards back when you guys could do smaller venues also. Had the luck and privilege to visit after those smaller shows back in those days. Still have my UK flag on my wall that all 3 of you signed for me with the Anjuna logo one of you drew in the center.
Definitely not as young as a I was back then, but still gives the me the same enjoyment. Thanks for all the memories and amazing tunes you all continue to make.
