Beautiful work but a keeled mast and headsails keeled will sail more upright and faster. Keeling means that the mast and headsails have more lateral resistance than the traveler or windlass or rudder. The stem between the mast and forestay is the deepest point of the sailboat design. So that the boat is keeled from stem to stern seaworthy design. This normal academic seaworthy design sails upright and faster while having better rudder control in high wind and rough weather.
