I love these videos so very much!! And I’m excited to have ideas to try for this year. I’ve been a ride or die glue stick fan but now I want to try the tape adhesive. Less messy I’m assuming. Yay.

So glad you enjoyed it! And you definitely inspired me with your video last year. I am a huge fan of the tape runners because 1. they are faster than using glue and 2. they hold glossier papers much more securely. Some brands I've used though don't hold well at all. The double sided tape rolls don't save much time but i've never had any issues with the tape not sticking. Once it's stuck that's where it stays lol.

My smashbook date stamp finally ended in 2022 also. I was pretty sad about it lol.

Oh no! I felt similarly. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the new one but it's growing on me.

Sarasa is my number 1 pen...It makes my handwriting looks very neat and nice. Love this video..... And also, i'm not the only who used a lot of pens and empties them and keep them until the end of the year and brings them for recycle....Papermate pens are nice too....

The sarasa is awesome. I love how different pens can change our handwriting. So fun to hear about your recycling process.

Interesting video but also kind of scary how much plastic and single use products is involved in journaling. I wonder how we can make it more environmentally friendly?? X

I had this realization and feeling as well while doing this experiment. It has definitely made me think more about getting refills and other options when available.

I haven't finished watching, but had to comment about the ink samples that there's still a little bit in the containters-use that ink for something else! Don't just toss it. You may have already thought of this, but just in case-you can get a little paintbrush in there and dip it in and use for a background on a journal page, or add a little water and it would make a pretty wash and look like watercolor. You could even just drip them onto some pages for a splatter effect.

Love this idea! I have not thrown any away but do have some sitting in my bin that I could use like watercolor instead.

Hurray for Goulet samples! Love this kind of content. I'm pretty new to your channel, but did you say you aren't going to use washi anymore? Just too space-consuming?

So glad you enjoyed the video! Goulet samples are great! hmmm I don't remember saying that is a past video but it is possible. 😆As of right now I still use washi. However, over the past few years I have paired down my collection to just my favorites and am not planning on buying any more. I just don't use them enough and they do get pretty space consuming in my tiny house lol. .

They sure do get space-consuming! I love them, but same. I do use them, but not enough to justify a box in my tiny apartment.
