A CV is a "Curriculum Vitae". Basically a Resume
Job application form. Commonly referred to as a CV. Curriculum Vita, Latin for "course of life". I can see King boomer reading at like, resume a phone call, lol

@BunniMonster your right. My mistake. Interesting subject though, I sometimes think of a galaxy as a single atom. The sun the nucleus with planets spinning round it in ring patterns. There is a field of study that looks into this. Are we just a particle living onboard a sub atomic particle? Is earth just an electron is the sun just releasing its atomic energy, are we not just living in a atomic explosion with blackholes just releasing energy but we precieve time much slower than the universe does.

Much used to reference a point in the sky when looking at stars. a Quasar is a far far far away black-hole with a bunch of "stuff" orbiting extremely fast around it, and due to this makes a fairly regular and very loud "noise" in the radio spectrum. They're one of the most powerful things in the universe having mass of billion times our sun. With the noise "regularity", they kinda serve as beacons in the universe, since they each have a distinct but fairly regular noise coming from them. Crazy cool stuff.

I always like the confused look on a babys face when people dance them like puppets (35:40 approx). They have no idea what's going on but as soon as they realize it's not a bad thing they have a look of acceptance.

Allegedly, Da Vinci, had written a list of his skills and experiences and sent them to the Duke of Milan. As he was offering his services in designing structures such as bridges, sculptures and boats.
In contrast, résumé is French for "summary." But served the same purpose. For about 450 years a résumé was simply a description of a person, including abilities and past employment and it didn't take on the more professional look in terms of its presentation and content like we know them now until the 1970's.
It was also somewhat bemusing to me that the US went with résumé over CV because one of the main differences between American English and British English is that Brits kept a lot of the spellings and pronunciations of words that were absorbed from other languages, mainly French and German. But, about 50 years after the US had gained independence Noah Webster the lexicographer published the American dictionary and it's theorised that he wanted American spellings to differ from British spellings as a way of showing independence and I'd guess that the French option of résumé seemed more straightforward than the pretentious sounding Latin word the Brits were using.

My friend had an exercise addiction. Chose exercise over everything, birthdays, work. She even missed a funeral. Now at age 40 she has the bones of an 80 year old and a small heart. Which means circulation problems. Also she had to have both hips replaced at age 30. Queen B is right.

C.V stands for Curriculum Vitae basically what you would call a Resume
Most people use CV and resume to be the same thing but actually are slightly different. You would use a resume as a relevant one or two page summary of your career in order to apply for a job but a CV is supposed to be a complete list of your work history and is it's more suited to academic or scientific field where they would want to know everything you published or presented at, research grants etc etc.

In most countries, a CV is the same as a résumé, with small differences (for example, in France we're I am from, a CV needs to be fitting in a single A4 page only. For some other countries, it is usually a 2-page document.)

A year or two ago, I noticed that you could actually still 'Poke' on Facebook. It doesn't look like you can now, but it was still a thing after all those years.
I was in on the early years of MySpace, back when I was at University twenty years ago. Back before it was much more basuc, before it was all music. That, and Livejournal. Ah, those were the days...

Everyone seems to miss the pre-intro credits "Friendface" advert when they react to this episode. The guys over at ETS did the same in theirs, is it just missing from the episodes you guys have found?
Moss’ message alert “message for me” was my text alert years ago. Would still be it if it wasn’t for apple’s stinginess.
Zenith was an awesome comic book story in the 80's published in the anthology comic 2000 AD, Quasar was a Laser Quest type thing in the 90's as well as an Astrophysics thing, Moss could have been naming his fictional children after either.
This episode was a rocky build-up to a great second-half.

I've binge watched all of your IT Crowd reactions. Loved them all. Given me the company and laughs I needed. You are a lovely family, and your baby is adorable. All the best.
We still us CVs in America, almost exclusively in academic circles. Resumes are generally short, abbreviated summaries of experience and skill. CVs will include a lot more detail, particularly about your education, publications, etc.
Also make sure your power supply isn't running its limit because your system will cut power to all the devices if you're drawing a lot of power compared to what your psu can deliver and psu is a very easy to watchly the not easy to replace the app pain in the **** because you've got to unplug everything from the motherboard and remove the cables and put your new one in and put everything back in in the right place so yeah they are a pain in the **** but it's doable. Always go modular with psus if you can.
I liked to think 'Cuke', rather than just being the market-leading caffeinated sugary drink (but with a 'u' in it's name) was more a mash-up of 'Cøke' and 'Puke'.
MySpace was great for music
I suffered from a USB disconnect and reconnect for a long time... I didn't know what it was. I noticed a drive that was appearing and reappearing. It turned out to be a USB hub with Ethernet. The drive was a virtual one on the hub to install the network driver. Got rid of the hub, no more issues. It's a common issue with the RTL driver installer. The USB connections worked fine.
I miss Gatorade we don't get here in Ireland...i always liked the light blue one..i think its called cool blue or something.

Talking about poking people on facebook.. in my teen years, I was bored one night and just went down my friends list poking literally everyone. I had no idea the association to what "poking" meant. Was a real awkward day of school the next day.
Aside from "Haunting of Bill Crouse", this may be one of my favourite episodes, though I'm still looking forward to "Jen the Fredo"and "the Final Countdown".

I was addicted to working out when I was a teenager. It was quite a big problem. also wasn’t eating enough to go with it. Queen boomer is right that all addictions are bad
school reunions are just for the popular kids to remember a better time now they are all junkies
My keyboard did that a lot and it turned out the wire inside the cover was near busted. New keyboard = solved problem.

What sounds like is happening with your computer is that something is connecting and disconnecting, I suspect you may have a hub for more connections? If you do, the problem might be that you have too many things plugged in and its switching between the things... So, may want to see what you've got plugged in and when the noises happen, disconnect one thing and see if it stops, then if it keeps going, do it again, until the noises stop. Now at that point you'll know the max limit of devices you can have attached to that hub.
Just a thought with no other information than what I'm hearing.
