Hello from NC, I am excited about the glass mat.
It is definitely a great tool.
Watching a replay on Christmas Eve. As a demonstrator - though really just a hobbiest, I only buy for myself - I was able to purchase a glass mat in advance. As I am watching your video I had to laugh and realized the mat is set up for right handed people. As a lefty, I always put stamp pads on my left or mix paints on my left. The way the grid is printed it favors right handed people. Since it's a large area and flat it shouldn't make too much difference. Just a thought though for future products. Sorry I didn't watch last night as you said you didn't plan to do a video. I love the mat, but I was too late to purchase it, I am so sorry I didn't act sooner. You gave some great tips about the benefits of the mat. Think it will keep my stamping space cleaner, too. Have a "Happy" day. ❤💚

What do you think about using photopolymer stamps with the glass mat underneath your card stock? Do you still need the foam mat? Thank you for the demonstration.

I use removable scotch tape for almost everything but if I get adhesive on my desk top or mat, I use rubbing alcohol. It works great!!!

What is the price of the glass mat?
The value is $60, but it is not for sale. It is a FREE gift to new demonstrators that join between January 4 - February 29 (during Sale-a-bration).
Since I am already a demonstrator there is no way I can get a mat. This seems strange. 😂
Actually, they allowed the demonstrators to purchase it during the pre-order. They allotted a certain amount. They did say demonstrators may be able to purchase after SAB is over if there are any remaining.
Since we can’t get them you all are advertising for Tim Holtz he has one like it, Stampin up is making a mistake by not having them for everyone, we non demonstrator will just go get one of Tim Holtz. Not everyone can be a demonstrator. I have had one for years it is a weR brand. Mine looks just like stamp in up…. I love your videos by the way you are very talented and I love the way you explain all the new die cuts you are very thorough.
Anyone can be a demonstrator. It is like having a coupon all the time. A demonstrator does not have to demonstrate, do videos or anything like that. They can be their own customer and/or share what they love and possibly get sales to help with their quota.
Joining in January (and getting the glass mat for FREE) guarantees being a demonstrator through July. That is 7 months to meet their first quota. It’s definitely worth a try.
I have the we r media mat! Absolutely love it and it’s much larger than stampin up with a larger media area and half the price!

Simple to remove with a little rubbing alcohol
I have a Crafters Companion glass mat. It's a little larger and I love it. To get tape or glues off , I use hand sanitizer mainly because I had so much left( due to covid) over.
