I am so glad you don't blur things out. That ankle was one of the worst I have seen in my almost 40 years of being a nurse. The sweet older couple are the ones that pull on your heart strings and you remember.
We want to see the injuries! That's why I'm here. I'm also a nurse, and while I don't like seeing people in pain, I am fascinated by injuries and want to see everything.
Isn’t that the truth about the elderly couple? I felt so bad for her when she said it didn’t happen when she was talking about having children I’ve known women that could just look at their husband and get pregnant and then these poor souls they just wanna be parents so bad and it just can’t be, back then anyways. Now she is living by herself, looking at pictures of a life that flew past her. I was 59 when my husband passed away on our front lawn. They worked on him for a half hour, but nothing. We couldn’t even use the defibrillator on him because he had no electricity in his body. No electrical current he was gone. One week shy of our 31st anniversary and all the presents were bought. My sons and I open them up during the long weekend in October. My husband‘s been gone 3 1/2 years and it feels forever, but then when I think of our wedding and look at the early pictures of our marriage Feels like yesterday and that’s the part that kills me the most cause I just wanna pop right back to yesterday. Thank you for choosing to be a nurse for your career. I hold nurses higher than I hold doctors because I see what you guys go through. I’ve been a type one diabetic since I was nine and I’ve had plenty of hospital stays most of not due to being diabetic, but just other things . Thank you again. 🩷💐
This show is the best! I love the compassion, humor, and love shown in the worst of a person's life. I always smile and cry, and fall in love with the patients and their loved ones, the doctors, nurses, and staff. I'm visiting England in October 2025 and want to come visit Queens because I love it so much. Thank you from USA.
Shock does that to you. In ‘68 my mom with her five kids and the neighbour girl across the road were in a really bad accident. We flipped four times landed on the tires and fortunately didn’t get hit because we were on the opposite highway that we had been on. My mom got out of the car. Everybody was trying to make her sit down she wouldn’t and then the paramedics and police arrived and they just looked at her and was telling her to sit down on the ground and she wouldn’t. She said she had kids and she wanted to make sure we were all OK and then it hit her hard and she just sat on the ground. She said her left knee look like a rotten tomato that someone had punched right in the middle and then her ankle was like this girl‘s ankle that was twisted and it was just hanging there. Fortunately, my mom had surgery and they saved her foot, but it was an awful surgery job and she suffered with that foot until she passed away at 84. We knew she had little time and when I got that phone call I said to myself, Mom you’re not in any more pain and I’m happy for you. When you’re in that deep of shock, you just don’t feel pain.
Here i am after watching boarder patrol were they blur out narcotics and then i walk into a cut off ancle just hanging there in some skin without blurring or warning.. Holy Macaroni 34:15 Imagine being married for so long and get told that this is the end for your husband. Made me cry. I lsot my da in 2013 and he and mum had been married for over 50 years. When he died it took only 7 months and my mum passed away.. That was really tough
I’m so sorry. That must’ve been tough. When I lost my husband 3 1/2 years ago, I was talking to a friend about my husband‘s death because he was out gardening and the next thing I knew he was gone, but I told my friend I don’t think I loved him as much as I thought because I always told my husband I would die of a broken heart soon after his death and it had been two years and I was still alive. It doesn’t always work out the way we think it’s going to work out. I love my hubby very much.
Awesome episode. I pray that John is at peace. He, and his wife were a lovely couple. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️. Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating today. 🙂⚘️🦃.
I feel every ounce of her pain. Mine was just almost exactly like that. Got bucked off a horse broke my foot totally off. Luckily it was in a tight boot, didn’t break through the skin! I have a big weird ankle now, but still have my foot. Thanks to excellent paramedics, nurses and surgeons!
I’ve watched every single one of these episodes! What an incredible team this hospital has! When you’re at your worst what you need is LOVE & KINDNESS! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 🍂❤
Losing my husband twelve years ago I realized that when you you say the words till death you doth part, you have no idea what those words mean until the love of your life is gone. My heart goes out to this precious couple.
I understand. My husband died unexpectedly. I have often said that when you say the words "until death do us part," you never imagine that it will happen.
Thank you for this, Thanksgiving can be stressful , watching this helped me be more empathetic and loving. ❤ i can only hope to have love like that older couple. ❤😢
Was the nurse ok? Getting punched is not fun. I was NOT even ready for the foot, I had to stop watching for a minute. I love listening to people talk about their meeting their true souls and life. Florence and John is such a wonderful couple. Think 70yr with someone is so wonderful, I cried.
WOW I was Not expecting to actually see the injury of that ankle / leg! I fell in my kitchen and shattered my ankle and leg and it looked the same. I was in shock instantly.
Thank you so much for posting this! When will you un-hide the restoration Season 18? I am obsessed with your Channel and have watched every video! I live in Florida 😊
I lost my husband to Parkinson’s and mixed dementia. He went to the hospital, forgot to swallow and went into a coma and passed away on hospice in hospital 😢
Oh my, Mim and her beautiful husband John broke my heart, life can be so cruel when it takes soul mates away. They had a gorgeous life together though, which was wonderful. The end broke me though. Poor Mim. 😢
Here's the US 1960's fall out of a tree care for me as a 4 year old. Father says walk it off. No trips to emergency department. 5 days crawling around the house with an Ace bandage your mother put on. Treatment for concussion? Bath with mother staring at you. No expensive trips to emergency department... Cognitive test? Parent holds up 2 fingers and asks how many fingers do you see? No matter the answer father tells you to walk it off...
Same thing here. Fell off a horse and dislocated my shoulder: "Take an aspirin and go lay down." Slipped on concrete and hit my head: "Get up, you'll be alright." Scoliosis diagnosed - "Let's see if you will grow out of it."
That ankle was horrible and amazed that she could wiggle her toes before surgery!! She was just so lucky. I didn’t have any trouble seeing it or any other blood and all, but when that one man had that needle stuck in his head, I nearly lost it. Wasn’t ready for that and no time to look away 😂Go figure😂
I also broke my left foot - but it did not look that bad then in this video - but it is a immense pain .....I also had a accident with my two dogs - one went in one direction, the other went in another direction - and bum I fell straight to the ground hurting my left knee - a long time ago I had my 1 year old on one arm - in the other arm many other things - (to save time!) - and the weight of all was just too much and it made a big bang and I fell down about the last 3 stairs with my son on my arm - dislocating my right kneecap - yeah never try to save time - my boy was ok - but for me it was no fun at all - the medics arrived and told me that the will call the helicopter - -- Why ? This was no life threatening injury.....well they said there is no other ambulance available....so we waited and waited but the helicopter landed far away from where I live - too far - so at the end I was transported with the usual ambulance into the next hospital and I had to have a operation for to fix my dislocated kneecap......but the worst pain was my broken leg.....(ankle joint) - that was the most immense pain I ever felt in my whole life.....and when I went into the hospital I had no good feeling at all of what would await me there - I was right
I like Ambulance UK better because there is way less story telling than this show. I honestly don’t care to listen to a family member discussing the patient’s entire life history. Especially comments from the waiting room…yawn.
Good for Lou for finding love and fulfilment with another woman. Given the horror stories now unfolding in the US, I think women there should dump Trump-supporting husbands and take up with each other.
I am so glad you don't blur things out. That ankle was one of the worst I have seen in my almost 40 years of being a nurse. The sweet older couple are the ones that pull on your heart strings and you remember.

I’m a retired RN after 46 years and I’ve never seen an ankle like that.
I was in tears with the sweet, older couple!
😢 same…
Me too 😭
Heart braking😔
Me too. 💔
😢😢😢
So impressed that the consultant that popped the ankle in place.
My mercy! I allow myself to get so invested in these peoples’ lives! This series just grasps your heart!
That foot hanging off was wild!!!!!
Couldn’t believe she wasn’t screaming her head off!
@@susanoppat3138 Yes! how wasnt she screaming is a mistery, if I saw my ankle like that, I would have passed out
Having had a loss in my life, I teared up, for Mim, and her ducky. I'm glad he is at peace, and had a wonderful life!!! ❤

36 minutes in… bawling my eyes out 😢
I have never, ever, seen anything as awful as the open fracture ankle. I cannot believe she was awake and not unconscious with the pain!
Shock does that to you. In ‘68 my mom with her five kids and the neighbour girl across the road were in a really bad accident. “Did I hurt anyone?” “No 👀” 😂 poor Kristy. I’m glad they lied to her. I’m sure she’d have felt awful
I wonder if she has seen this video?

I thought for sure she was going to lose her foot! That was insane!
John's decline and passing hit hard. I lost my mom in a similar way.
I’m so sorry to hear that. 😔
Awesome episode. I pray that John is at peace. He, and his wife were a lovely couple. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️. Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating today. 🙂⚘️🦃.
Hi Donna, yes the elder couple were really lovely. 🩷🩷
@SnowPink90 They reminded me of my parents. I miss them so much. I hope you have a fantastic day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️.

Cutest little boy and Mom pair ❤All of the Drs and nurses are just so professional and caring .
Yes I thought they were so sweet.
Thank you for not censoring!

Holy f*** that ankle 😮😢
Yeah man I thought the same thing

Boy oh boy....That Kirsty is a REAL TROOPER !!!
Love seeing a new one! Thanks!
As a nursing student, her ankle is so insanely impressive and terrifying. People survive the most intense situations. She was so cognizant
Thank you for this, Thanksgiving can be stressful , watching this helped me be more empathetic and loving. ❤ i can only hope to have love like that older couple. ❤😢

Florence and John, what a beautiful couple, so much to try to live toward!
That first one was gnarly
Thank you so much for posting this! When will you un-hide the restoration Season 18? I am obsessed with your Channel and have watched every video! I live in Florida 😊
The older couple
I'm in tears
I hope they let her stay with him.
Oh gosh. I can't. My heart. That sweet old couple. Heartbreaking. Sad. Beautiful. Awful. Sad.
I lost my husband to Parkinson’s and mixed dementia. He went to the hospital, forgot to swallow and went into a coma and passed away on hospice in hospital 😢

It so wonderful to see the love they have for each other❣️ absolutely beautiful 💕💞
The causative factor of loneliness in post partum depression is an important observation and something that can be addressed...
😮 wow.
First !!! I absolutely LOVE these episodes
Observing that ankle my pain was 10+...
Omg that ankle…or foot hanging of 😱😱
Ugh all these bot comments.
Anyway, love this show. But I still skip the 2 minute intro every time.

Wow that ankle ..
I’ll still climb trees…just not fall out of them-impeccable logic.
Did I miss a patient ? Where was the patachutist mentioned in the title ?🤔
You put the wrong title again, there's nothing about parachuting in this episode. Kirsty's injury was Doozy, that's why I watch these shows.
Sarah, there’s not a mother who hasn’t wished they hadn’t had their child no matter how much you love them.
RIP 🪦 John 😢
Every ..... single .... day .....
that poor doctor got whacked 😭😭😭
What’s A&E stand for?
Accident and emergency
I also broke my left foot - but it did not look that bad then in this video - but it is a immense pain .....I also had a accident with my two dogs - one went in one direction, the other went in another direction - and bum I fell straight to the ground hurting my left knee - a long time ago I had my 1 year old on one arm - in the other arm many other things - (to save time!) - and the weight of all was just too much and it made a big bang and I fell down about the last 3 stairs with my son on my arm - dislocating my right kneecap - yeah never try to save time - my boy was ok - but for me it was no fun at all - the medics arrived and told me that the will call the helicopter - -- Why ? when I seen the ankle girl I said "bloody hell she snapped it off"
The fact she can STILL wiggle her toes. Our bodies are something
Oh dear god I broke my foot so I know how the lady with the ankle feels.
How the hell do you almost amputate your own ankle on a charity "fun" run? That's not fun that's sadomasochism...
Your comment literally makes no sense.
Omg…
I'm going to HURL... After I faint... After I keel over...
That's NOT a dislocation that's an ABOMINATION of the ankle...
They need to talk to the old man .He's so confused
Always a great show but I didn't see where the Parachute Landing pt came in? Unless they meant nurse who became gay after 27 yr marriage?
I like Ambulance UK better because there is way less story telling than this show. I honestly don’t care to listen to a family member discussing the patient’s entire life history. Especially comments from the waiting room…yawn.
Ambulance UK is focused on the paramedics. This show is specifically about the experience in the emergency room. Two different types of show.
Good for Lou for finding love and fulfilment with another woman. Given the horror stories now unfolding in the US, I think women there should dump Trump-supporting husbands and take up with each other.
Dang, why couldn't they blur that ankle. Nearly puked, lol.
Haha right 😅
I love that they don't blur things. I am a former nurse so nothing bothers me .
What’s the point of? Just look away.
It was rough!
I about died!
