Okay i found out a way to open trunk easly. 1. remote via OPCOM or 2.You can remove 5A fuse, its number 16 under the hood. Should work. also it removes beeping over 20mph/30kmh Iv got fault code B3011-06 and it was broken wire near closing lid sensor.
Mine done this once , boot wouldn't open , an when I drove over 20 mph got the bongs from the inboard computer, used to be on a forum , told me to disconnect battery, then go through roof opening an shutting procedure, it worked ,
I was coming to look at the car with the friend who is interested. Looking at the video. The book doesn't look like it has closed properly after the roof went back up as the panel line near rear lights is to big. The beeping when driving will be no doubt the warning to say it isn't closed
@@nicecarsdarlington some vauxhalls have a manual release inside the boot next to the lock to release. Insignia's have them. But have to climb in through the back seats to get at it. Looks to me something not sitting right and it hasn't quite closed correctly. I take it the roof had been fine when u got the car
mine did the same, so I went through the roof opening & closing procedure and found that I hadn't closed the roof up properly, like, as soon as I heard the beeping, I let go the button not realising that in doing so, the roof wasn't fully closed, so, in future, make sure you keep your finger on the roof closing button until the beeping stop`s, and that fixed my problem, I hope it will fix your problems, cheer`s...
There a video about broken roofs rich man poor car I think shows you how to open boot and where micro switch is to stop the binging but will probably need a boot solenoid witch are as easy to find as rocking horse shit

It could be locking mechanism, which is accessed by the hole in the back seat (mechanical access with a 8 mm spanner attached to a stick)

Yeah, I have been doing a bit of research and I need to get hold of vauxhall software to possibly tell the car to open the boot

The most ridiculous design of car i,ve ever come across. Boot won't open roof won't open, stuck at home with flat tyre can't get access to spare.
