Henry 336 Primer additional instruction: I put luxury tile in my bedroom addition and kitchen back at the end of 2020 just after we moved into the house. I used a different primer (cant recall name but got at Lowes, just like the Henry 336 now) ( just saying no add for lowes FYI) Anyway I came to this video because of no instructions on application. HOWEVER after seeing you pour it into the paint pan I KNEW what I needed to know. This stuff is EXACTLY like what i used 2 years ago but it had instructions. Not much different from what you said BUT they recommended TWO COATS. it looked same color as H336 and drys with a blueish tint, especially noticable on concrete subfloor. So i am puttin two coats down as i got a gallon as well and at 110 Square Feet I got tons of the stuff. Thank you hope this helps anyone looking to use in future.
Hope your project turns out well. Thanks for all the detailed information
about to tackle this same project this weekend. thank you for the video!!! I feel more comfortable doing it after watching this!
Hope it turns out well. Feel free to ask if you questions
Awesome job. Every video I’ve watched they used grout & spacers. Glad to see it’s not needed
Thanks! Good luck with your floor
I watch a LOT of DIY videos, I’m about to start my kitchen peel and stick now. Video helped a lot, got me started right. Also, you made it interesting lmao. Keep tile’n dirty bud.
Thank you. Hopefully your project goes well.
I enjoyed this video and learnt a lot in the process
Thanks for the nice comment
Even though it was challenging, I'm sure you made your wife and daughter happy by installing that flooring.
Hopefully, you know how wives and daughters are hard to please sometimes 😀
If they weren't complicated they won't be women
You got a sub because you’re quite entertaining. Enjoyed it. We are not having the same results with adhesion. Used Sureply and primed it with a wood safe primer. Some tiles stick well but most have a slight cup to them and just won’t. 10 pound weight overnight and it comes right up. We’ll be using a vinyl adhesive For the rest of the floor.
Sorry your having issues. That would be very frustrating. Thanks for the comment and sub
Thanks so much, even though it's a boring work you somehow throwing yourself on the floor like a stuntman made it look 😊, I laughed and now more encouraged to do my 3 rooms and hallway 😩😅..
Good luck with all that tile. Hopefully you can keep it fun. Let me know how it turns out.
Lmao tryin to catch me tilin’ dirty 😂. I’ll be tiling dirty in my kitchen tonight
Finally, someone comments on my joke!!
Thanks this is really gonna help doing this same thing this weekend
Good luck this weekend. Thanks for commenting
You are hilarious great job and I like the company you have
Thank you for the nice comment!
Thanks! I'm getting ready to do some self stick tile in a bathroom. Glad it's not octagonal, just square. I'll start with a center line and go from the center, which is how I've always done it. But square is different. Would never do octagonal. Looks very cool, though. You made a funny video, very entertaining!
Hopefully your project turned out well. Thank you for the comment
Now now sir, I remember seeing your video for the swinging chair and your math calculations.....😬🤷🏻♀️😂😅 #Teasin’
it's great this process to make a kind of floor tile at a lower cost excellent
Ha enjoyed that. You sound like John. C. Reilly. Nice job.
Thanks. Maybe I missed my calling
Thank you
Good luck with your project!
Nice!
Thanks!
That primer is for floor leveling compound
03:39 jajaja great ! the cat is cool
Thx for thr video
Thank you for commenting!
Can't wait
Me too
Needed this exact example because I too like the most complex options hahah 😂
Good luck with your floor project!
Hi there, did you install the floor directly on your subfloor? If so, is that concrete? I’m about to install these same tiles in white in my bathroom. Thank you!
Yes, I installed them on concrete. Good luck!
Couple of questions. We're using peel and stick carpet tile in a 13*30 space. Did you use that whole thing of primer in that small room or did you have some left over? Also, my fiancé's concrete was painted over and the paint has come up in areas I'm assuming we really should scrape up the rest of the paint?
I had a lot of primer left over. I'd highly recommend removing the peeling paint. A cupped wire brush on a grinder would make quick work of it. Good luck! Let me know how it turned out.
thx for the video! I’m considering doing peel n stick on my concrete floor. can you plz tell me if your still glad you did this? does it still look good? any issues?
No issues. About two years later and it still looks good. It's in a low traffic area so don't know how it would handle more use. Good luck!
Amazing singing skills
Thank you. Thank you very much.
I just purchased the Henry’s primer. Looking for video and instructions. How is the peel and stick holding up, with the adhesive?
No issues with the floor at all. It’s a laundry room so doesn’t get much traffic. Good luck!
What kind of blade did you use on your chop saw?
Just a decent Dewalt trim carpentry blade
can you please update how its going did the primer actually worked? how well is it lasting?
Almost a year later and no issues. Nothing is coming up. Are you doing a similar project?
@@LewisRenovation nice, I actually am, some suggest to use the 2057 premium vct adhesive, but im stick to the one you used the 336 self stick tile primer.
@@smokinaces47 Good luck with the project!!
Now now sir, I seen your math on your swinging chair math 🤣🤣🤣🤣 #teasin!
It's funny, I've got a degree in mathematics but simple math has always been "challenging"
Can i let this primer dry overnight?
I would think so, as long as it stays clean
can you do my floors😁
After I get done every project around here 😀
😂😂😂tryna catch you tileing dirty
Thanks for the comment. Happy 2023
Should of pulled the base off 🤯
That would have been an option, but it's just a laundry room
@@LewisRenovation it’s the little things that a craftsman takes the time to do right, that makes a true craftsman. Big or small always do that right way!
Cute entertainment but how about some discussion on scribing against the wall and against the door entryway? I.e. complicated cuts. Not helpful but entertaining
Just like Maximus 'are you not entertained?!?"
