OK OK I"ll take one!!
*255 Horsepower* was a *LOT* in 1956 !!
williamg2552 If you know anyone that needs some parts let me know
I drive one of these daily in 2020
If I could, I would do the same.
How hard is it to get parts?
Easy to find parts !
I have a 56 also. 😊
I was 1 years old in 1956, and my parents had a dud '53 Chevrolet that was an ice box in the winter and a no exceleration putz..
That was when they went to 12 volts and for years all Mopars had a very distinctive cranking sound.
The 'de-lovely' comment at the end pays homage to the background music "De-Lovely," written by Cole Porter.
GM had 12 volts in 1953 on Cadillac and 12 volts on the rest of the GM line in 1955.
12 Volts at least in Oldsmobiles, in 1954 (I rebuilt one)
@@gladtobeopenminded Thank you, for the update Peter.
GREAT SELLING! These cars were VERY GOOD! The older Chrysler products were BETTER!
