This movie looks absolutely amazing. The cast alone is just a 10+
You are correct
It was sooo good I was hooked from the beginning. Highly recommend
Just saw the movie, we need a specific featurette for "Tyler's Bullshit" 😂😂😂
Hahaha YES !!! I saw the movie on thursday and it was soooo fantastic !!! What did the chief whispered in Tyler´s ear ? I want to know that !!!
@@Licorice33 He basically told him to kill himself which he did by hanging himself
@@DaScorpionSting Ohh !! Really ? Ok .. it makes sense because of tylers obsession with the chief… !!
@@nikitamohanan2124 you don’t have to attack me … not nice. What he whispered was longer than „kill yourself / stuff like that“ .. so I wondered what it was EXACTLY.
@@nikitamohanan2124 Thx for spending that much time.
The menu made laugh multiple times cause they just poke fun on everything
Especially the scene where the guy is hiding in chicken coop and a guy just presented a dish with a the rolling shot of the food as a transition 😂
It didn't look particularly delicious. Well, maybe the amuse bouche. But nothing I'd really crave - even with the way Tyler inhaled the taco, I couldn't help wonder why since it was chicken tortilla and some presumably gelled salsa. Needs more to it. And for a tasting menu, there's not enough dishes there to fill four hours, particularly given the portion size. Which I assume is part of the joke.
Or the no bread course
Ralph Fiennes is so magnetic in everything he does, his performances draw you into the plot. Easily one of the most talented actors of his generation. Gustave H. Is the greatest character of any Wes Anderson movie.
The man could legit become a cult leader.Very charismatic actor.

😆😄
Indeed, I watched the movie because of him...
the best food to try is a cheeseburger and then smores
Tony Stark would agree.
I dont know if i want the s’mores tbh
@@judithcarter5477 they're a touch...incendiary
I will take the cheeseburger to go
Honestly I just don’t like toasted marshmallows, like any other toffee type candy.
Easily one of my favorites from 2022. Just the right amount of dark humor.
I now have officially seen it.
My spoiler free review: honestly, the plot could've been complete garbage and I still would've loved it long as the food porn game was on point.
The plot paired perfectly with the food, and no one can convince me that wasn’t by design,
Easily put the movie on my personal list of movies I'd rewatch.
This movie should be in the award race. For cinematography.
This movie was so amazing. One of my favorites of the year.
Its a great movie! I intend on seeing a second time in the theater. Bravo to the Chef!
Hello
@@WorldClassSatanist wanna join illuminati ?
This movie was awesome!! I was shoving popcorn in my mouth wishing it was a fiendish oceanic dish
So happy The Menu is a huge hit for Searchlight Pictures!
saw movie yesterday...Ireally want some good old cheeseburger now :D
Finally a movie for adults
This is a kid's movie
@@σεα-ψ9ε yea bro i movie that had a basically psychopathic chef is a kids movie lol
edgelord
Only golden era hollywood black and white are adult movies. Everything else is B movie shocker xploatation bullshit.
Just finished watching it and it masterfully strings you along wondering where it's going. Uniquely suspenseful
omg when i saw the movie i thought the food shots looked so much like chef's table!! turns out its the same folks!
It's even referenced in the movie! And now I realize this movie is essentially them making fun of themselves!
The desert is the Alinea desert.
For those interested in trying the real thing/original.
Watched this movie yesterday I didn't expect it to be a horror movie I thought it's a romantic comedy. Not dissapointed nonetheless.
I'd say more thriller than horror.
Thriller comedy
@@videohistory722 I would say thriller combined with horror, drama and a bite of satire comedy. A very layered movie which you can not put in one genre.
@@Dewebje which you cannot convince me wasn’t by design. Because is that not what a menu is as well?
@@videohistory722 true
This film has a similar tone and pacing to Knives Out. Gotta check it out
Wow, they had a serious commitment to accuracy. I wonder how they found actors who had worked in the service industry.
This movie was just Gordon Ramsay's dark philosophies
Masterpiece chefs movie 👌
I want a cheeseburger from Dominique. I think I'll pass on desert.
imagine going to a resturant not knowing its your final meal
All this movie sure makes me.hungry
I am here for THIS!
to learn they really hired gelbs expertise for the movie is astonishing
This in my mind is what will happen when Gordon Ramsay eventually reaches the point of insanity
I just got done watching the movie, really want to know the recipe to each and every dish.
I did not find the movie very funny while watching. I'm no foody but it had a high level of suspense, and I also had some pity with both the chef as his guests. It was just afterwards when I could see the fun. And then it stopped haunting me.
Conclusion: brilliant.
It really works more as a horror and thriller with comedic elements than as a straight up comedy horror.
Is there a companion cookbook available?
Wait long enough, Babish will make it.
@@videohistory722 Love that!
Tyler's bullshit
A whole celary
A lamb chop cooked raw
I think its an onion or ginger
@@apdroidgeek1737 the recipe for Tyler's Bullshit is:
1 chopped leek
1 chopped shallot still with skin on.
Rack of lamb.
1 knob of butter
Add all ingredients to a medium skillet and sautee for roughly 20 to 30 seconds over a high heat or until the lamb is barely cooked on the outside but not really.
Plate, serve and h@ng yourself.
FOOD!!!!!
wait, WHY DID THEY NOT TASK DOMINIQUE AS THE MAIN CHEF ROL???
The cheeseburger is the only thing that looks edible to be honest. Everything else that was served is pretentious.
That's really the point of the movie about being pretentious, showing how absolutely obsessive this chef is at making food. Go watch the movie, you can labelled it as pretentious but that's kinda the point
Nooooooooo who could’ve guessed.
To quote the Simpsons: "Dat's deh joke!"
(Spoilers)
Yea i dont think i would eat tylers bullshit
@@Fl0k5ser even better: this is actually people in the culinary world making fun of THEMSELVES.
This was made by the same people that made the Chefs table.
2:10 nickacado?
pls tell me u did not just say that
Tyler's bullshit...Thats was hilarious! Im still aspiring as a chef.. but when you get people who dont know the difference between seasoning and spices... its just SMDH...
S ok
let me guess it was human meat after all. no pc bro?!
Nope

Wait, this is supposed to be a funny movie? I thought it was horror.
I saw it yesterday and would classify it more as a Thriller/Satire
It's more so a thriller mixed with a satire. Yes this movie pokes fun a lot of bad stereotypes
It's a gallows comedy.
It's a dark comedy, with a very strong horror element to it.
Its like suspenseful, some of the jokes are dark too
one of the worst movie i have ever seen , it wasted my time
Get better taste
Don't waste your time.
It sucked. It had many story lines but built to nothing.
Were you asleep during the movie or what?
I think you paid too much for simple food right?
