    Nice explanation!
    I have one question - If I have data of "Y" ( like sales refund rate Yes/NO) as categorical and data of "X" (like resolution time) is continuous, then which test is to be used?

      For an analysis in the above scenario, you need to use Logistic Regression Analysis. As you have binary y (Yes/No), go for Binary Logistic Regression Analysis.
