It will take a lot of time... Arcane was a labor of love. Every aspect of that show was perfect. If you don't like it, it's because it's not your style of animation or show, because no one can complain about the quality of the whole thing. I wish they make one for valorant... Yes... But take as much time as they need for it.
Just the simple world building, feeding us slow information on Gekko's creatures and where they come from, it's incredible. Riot knows what they're doing.

I love that Deadlock and Gekko (who was the agent recruited literally ight before her) might be at odds because she doesn't trust radiant creatures/animals. That's such a great story dynamic to go from relaxed, happy Episode 6 to dark, serious Episode 7.
Should I explain why she doesn't like Wingman? So Wingman and Gekko's other creatures were experiments by Kingdome. Gekko once broke in that Kingdome facility and got the creatures out. Now the bear on the other hand, seems to be a soul trapped in the bear. But it also might be a Kingdome experiment because in the teasers, Riot spacificaly mentioned the Kingdome worker (the black guy). So that's the explanation.
It would be cool to see if her abilities have some special effect on enemy gekko's abilities or counter them in some way

Deadlock was one of the first agents I unlocked. I heard how bad she was and everything but her kit and art style spoke to me. I still use her till this day. I love her

As a Norwegian I will say i'm impressed by the accuracy of area and dialect, and the efforts made to make it translate both ways are as good as it gets, really we sometimes just don't have a great word for things and it doesn't sound as epic :D

@@anotherpersonfromnorfolk1587The voice actors are very good, and the English/Norwegian accent is spot on. It is a bit hard to make Norwegian sound “badass” in a sense, so some translations could use being less direct for the grandeur aspect, but it is correct nonetheless.

Wow - choosing Svalbard and the "seed vault" seems awesome! The seed vault in Svalbard is very secure and I get the same feels here, and the native language, especially text on the doors, reverse monitor at 3:40 etc, Riot nailed it! I speak for us all Norwegians here I guess :D :D

@@xxjoebamaxx7782 It wouldn't be crazy. Most of the Arcane team aren't Rioters, they're external talent hired by Riot. They could do the same for Valorant if they felt inclined and if they can make space in the budget.
The bigger budgetary problem is that they are currently fronting the cost of both a fighting game and an MMO, so funds might be tighter than they used to be.
Their animations/cinematics are always 🔥. Hope they make a tv series already.
Riot games, the creators of Valorant, also made League of legends... League has a series based on called 'arcane' it does too have crazy good animation.

I dont know if a lot of people have noticed this, but the gigantic bear has a glow, which is very similar to the glow on Gekko's arm when he uses his abilities, especially wingman!!

I'm sooooooo excited to get more lore on gekko's creatures. Why do they hate kingdom scientists so much, what was Deadlocks involvement with Kingdom? Where did Gekko get these creatures? How are they linked with the other radianite experimentations that kingdom has done? (Omen, Reyna's sister, the bear)

The voice acting, and effects along with the tense buildup and just the right amount of telling us what abilities the new agent has makes this cinematic one of the best to hype up the community.

It's really cool that even though there's two earths, riot makes it a point to come back to the lore. Kingdom experimenting with radianite and creating radianite creatures like gekko's creatures and how an experiment gone wrong can be catastrophic all of that in one cinematic. Deadlock's you don't know what they are capable of hit different. She knows the depth of experiments with radianite. Plus it's nice that they shifted focus from multiverse in episode 6 to a single universe in ep 7. And man those hints valorant dropped. I remember from gekko's voicemail to brim about his creatures feeding to sova and cypher discovering the emergency broadcast by deadlock. Total full circle moment. Plus now we know why gekko's tattoos glow when he uses his creatures.
I was waiting for sova's appearance, given his involvement in the teasers 🙂
I think because people already connected that this happen before sova went to Norge, which meant what they teased in Twitter is when sova going to search her and rescue her
