Beautiful fish! That incredible creek is Blue River it originates in Washington County Indiana. Your video is labeled Big Blue River. Which originates in Henry County. It flows into Sugar Creek, (the southern one) and forms Driftwood River which joins Flatrock river at Columbus to form the east fork of White river. Two very different rivers/creeks, many miles apart. I grew up fishing the rivers of Indiana, especially those south of Indianapolis. (since the early 60's) Thanks for sharing your video. It was fun watching and seeing the beautiful scenery. That is an incredible creek. If you get the chance, venture to Crosley Fish and Game area south of the town of Vernon. Vernon Fork of the Muscatatuck. In the early to late 60's, it was one of the best smallmouth rivers in the state. It still holds good numbers. Find parking spot labeled F2 go downstream. Flatrock river is another great smallmouth river in Indiana that is more central/south. Anywhere you fish it can produce nice smallmouth.
Thanks for sharing the access site because there are two Blue Rivers in Indiana. The other flows into the east branch of the White River at Columbus, Indiana.

Should have been throwing a ned ring or tube. You would have tore them up.
True. I didn't have much time to fish so I decided against finesse baits. Next time though!
