having been diagnosed for 6 years with FND-Functional Neurological Disorder, i think its graves disease after watching this lecture, I even took pictures of my eyes over several weeks showed them to my neuro-psychiatrist, who deleted them from my phone saying it was health anxiety, it was showing the drooping eyelids and slight bulge in one of eyes have also been having double vision and one eye turning in. I do have a lot of other issues which probably are FND weak muscles, fatigue, fibromyalgia, twitches- eyes, lower face around mouth and stomach, arms, doctor says its benign fasciculation syndrome, bowel and bladder problems, maybe its a crossover of both Graves and FND, does anyone else with Graves have any of these other symptoms?
Hello - I'm not familiar with FND, but highly recommend getting in to see an experienced ophthalmologist to evaluate your eyes and an endocrinologist to evaluate your thyroid hormone levels. We often recommend that patients bring pictures in to an appointment with their eye doctor, so it's really inexcusable for a doctor to have deleted those from your phone without your permission. :-(
@@GravesAndThyroid thank you for your reply I am awaiting an appointment at the eye hospital, and I will ask my GP to refer me to an endocrinologist. Many thanks and well wishes to everyone from Scotland
