Thanks for being a subscriber with me for 10 years! This one really does a good job with the air pressure needed to find the smaller hard to find leaks. This is one of those home tools I really do promote because it is very handy. I use a much more expensive one at work and it really is about the same except this one is more compact. The compact size is an absolute win. Toolbox space and garage storage space is a hot commodity for me, and this unit with all of its attachments and extras would still take up probably half of the space required by other options. Good stuff.

Hi Thomas! Thank you for being a subscriber with me for 5 years now! I love this smoke machine. I have not had any issues with it and it has solved a lot of tough to find air leaks.
This is a more compact unit than the one I currently use at work! I like that it doesn't require shop air.

I would love to win this smoke machine, it’s compact, very portable, comes with all the attachments you’ll ever need. Another thing about it is it’s simplicity of use, which means people with not a lot of experience could use it.

Looks much simpler than the gas grill regulator and coil wire heating election a paint can hack that I paid a pretty penny for. And I have to use a separate tire compressor as an air source.
For the price this really is a great unit! Makes smoke testing super easy and it is an important diagnosis step. I will reply back to the winner on Dec 23rd 😀 Good luck!
In the past, I’ve used smoke tube, and a small tire pump worked good but this diagnostic leak detector would be a great add-on to my tools. I hope :-) I really like the demonstration you gave on this machine looks like a great product Thanks for sharing.

The best spec, its the in-built air pump..since we don't need an external air source.

Hi Mike, I do! Well at least I have a lot of video footage I need to put into video posts. I am currently rebuilding the engine. Head is off, had it machined, performed thread repair on the engine block, finished a valve job and seals on the head and currently cleaned up the exhaust stud holes for the new studs. Hope to be going back together soon. I have full removal video footage and will do some on timing as well. Going to be a fun car :)
