My relatives were Polish and died there as well. God Bless this man for being so brave and telling this story . It makes me cry . Such a strong individual and a blessed one ❤
If this was a black person focused on colonialism/w.supremacy/eurocentrism and the atrocities which are a key aspect and foundation to social relations and social positioning. Would you feel the same way you do about this man? If not you are as bad as the people who are responsible for these crimes against humanity, just because you do not directly press the button of war doesn't mean you get to masquerade as though you aren't a part of the collective who are the reason there even is such a button and what ensues when it's pressed.
@@LynchtheFinch "Calm down"? I asked a very simple logical question....no exclamation marks or threats made, but es this is a very serious subject...crimes against humanity usually are aren't they? Please don't compare colonialism and it's crimes to the crimes of the Holocaust. It only feeds relativization and lessens the impact of the events. The atrocities commited of colonialism are a topic of their own and do not belong here. The only thing you're doing right now is bringing down the voice of a survivor of the Holocaust.

I feel censoring the footage is insensitive, people had to endure the horror, sometimes we should see these things just to remind us to never repeat them.
i was thinking something similar to what he said at the end, he survived for this reason letting people know what happened, this video is so important and special
He more than likely has SEVERE PTSD. Who wouldn’t? Unfortunately, they knew so little about mental health back then that he more than likely went without proper treatment for a long time. Many were told to just forget that it happened. To push it down which is the worst thing to do with such severe trauma. You have to confront it or it WILL come out and eat you alive. God Bless him. I hope he has gotten the mental health help he needs to give him some mental peace after dealing with this horrible horrible trauma
@@allshookup1640not everyone that experiences trauma develops PTSD. Clinically, there is also no such thing as “severe” PTSD. In any case, the questions asked required this gentleman to have to remember past traumatic experiences; at no point he avoided the questions, or was unable to remember relevant details which are symptoms characteristic of PTSD. You also wouldn’t know, same as the rest of us, how this gentleman chose to deal with what happened; that is, as it should be, personal to him. It’s good that the general population is becoming a bit more educated about mental health but we still have a long way to go so that we stop ourselves from turning into armchair psychologists and potentially causing harm to others as a result.
Why censure the footage? This is censoring the truth. If you bring a wonderful man to speak about his horrific experience and bot only his story, stop hiding and sugar coat things. By blurring the footage you aren't spreading awareness. We don't live in a bubble. This is reality and it should be shown as it is.

I believe that those who survived will never ever forget. Forgiveness is something personal between the victims and the offenders. But we are called to forgive by God. If we don't forgive how can God forgive us?

What an articulate gentleman, he and his parents were all brave and outstanding humans. I have so much admiration for his family and story.
So well articulate in His speech.
I feel blessed to hear him and it's a total honour .

I think it's censored for copyright not to spare people seeing them. They would've been visable if you watched this on TV
I agree with this. People should see how awful war is on a regular basis to understand why should avoid it at all costs.
What this poor guy and so many other people were put through is beyond belief, how can some people be so cruel
Agreed, they say that the Nazis didn’t regard them as human, but I would be unable to treat any living creature the way they were treated.

No he's just unsightly
Does this man have a book? His life is tragically fascinating.
I frequently think of the intelligence and potential contributions these people could have made to the world had they lived.
A proper man 💪🏻 shame we’re coming to that time where most survivors are now just passed away

What's the point of blurring out the scenes??
This would be due to copyright, I would suspect. They would have gotten the rights to air it on telly, but probably not on UA-cam.

Thanks you so much for this wonderful talk.
It's remind me all the dark side of human being. God bless Palestians against the children killers.😢
No one is killing children in Israel, Hamas is the only one doing that.
