That light is the size of my first car.
Hi guys. Been a sub for a while really enjoy yere Chanel I have a question. I have a discovery 2 with uk front headlights, I need to re register the D2 in Europe. I assumed I could adjust the headlights? But At the pre inspection I was told I must replace them. Their expensive to replace. Is there any way I could split them like you’ve done and convert them to European standards ???? I’d appreciate yere thoughts on this. Cheers.
,👍🏻
Did you use a black sticker at the bottom to cover the silver/grey area?
Yes we did - you can buy this here

Have you tried to remove the lens on a early d4 headlight? I have done it to a d3 but I’m struggling with my D4 Thanks
How did it go? Thinking about changing the lenses on my 2011 d4
what about using hair dryer to maintain the ovens heat
quick question, i have the old type of head light with the 2 normal bulbs, if i wanted to have the xenon headlight like yours, is it just a straight swap over? thank you
Xenon and Bi-Xenon are a straight swap. Ideally you need to change the settings using an IID tool too; this will stop them from flicking for a second when you turn them on. There is a 4th unit, the bi-xenon AFS. The lights turn with the steering on these units. They aren't a straight swap, you need the ECU, connectors and splice into the loom.
Why not using heat gun?
This method ok with Xenon's too?
These are xenons so yeah
@@davidbest1 7 months late on a reply there pal, Done mine a long time ago
You never gave the most important information.... the oven setting????
My bad - looking at the setting on the right hand dial it looks like it was 80-100 Deg C
This is confirmed by the comment below - 90 & leave for 9 mins
@@L663 cheers mate
Why do you want to screw around changing all these parts. Sending money painting plastic parts, buying replacement grills to end up with a shit looking imitation disco 4. Just buy one.....
A disco 3 is a disco 4. If you have a good solid Disco 3 you will only sell it for £5K so why not send a few £100 on giving it a re-fresh. A disco for will cost you £10K minimum.. You have saved yourself £5000..... thats a nice holiday in France for me and family.
powerfulukltd sounds like a good idea. How much roughly would it be to fit, a disco 4 bumper, lights grill and rear lights?
Some people like the Journey....
