I recently watched Manifest and even though I was unsure for a while who I shipped Michaela with, my heart has finally chosen!! I really do like Zeke though as a character and want to see more of him. I did struggle with this video, in terms of finding their scenes as I don't know the show very well yet, but I hope you guys still enjoy my video! I think the song fits them perfectly.
I also dedicate this to Sara (2words12letters) who inspired me to edit them with her excitement. And I love her very muchhh! She has done so much to support me, such a great friend.

The moment that Michaela married Zeke I was done with the show. They were soulmates. I never understood nor understand the “connection” with her and Zeke. I feel like it was forced by the callings. How can she fall in love with Zeke she had just met a day but had a lifetime with Jared.
The callings made her have a weird obsession with zeke like she couldn’t see they everything was his fault and blamed Jared and when Jared said that mick became a completely different person I think that was true and shes gonna get weirder and weirder
Keep watching give it a try. I mean the main story are not the couples but what happened to all of them on that flight. Zeekes not a bad guy at all, but indeed his relationship with Michaela developed too fast for us viewers. I think they were meant to share their healing after feeling guilty for the loss of a loved one ( Evie and Zeekes sister) after that well ...But keep watching cause things get interesting.
I understand it though and I prefer her with zeke. I loved Jared before zeke was introduced but after that he became obsessed with getting zeke out of the picture and I could tell he couldn’t stand the sight of mikayla looking at another man. If it hadn’t been for Jared mikayla wouldn’t had been shot and after she defended zeke Jared just became really petty. He didn’t even see her at the airport and moved on with her best friend. Now I’m not saying he shouldn’t have moved on because it was his right but with her best friend? Out of everyone?
He married and screwed her best friend that more than enough.

The only reason she’s even with zeke is because of the calling and she had the weirdest obsession with zeke and was blinded and blamed Jared for what zeke did
its because of the callings. and she relates way more to zeke and wants to help him. 1. he also pulled an 828 (ik he wasn’t on the flight) 2. he also went through a loss that was his fault. and then soon they find out about the death date, which is before they started sorta dating, and mich just wanted to spend as much time as possible with Zeke.
I think she married Zeke because of his looming death date. She nor Jared ever expected him to live.

I’m a year late with this comment 😭 but a lot of people is saying Michaela belongs with Jared and while that might be true it’s never going to work. Y’all have to understand he married the BESTFRIEND while she was gone and yes for him it was 5 1/2 years but for her it was only 2 days and her watching them two together broke her heart. He cheated on Lourdes with Michaela which was wrong bc they were trying to start a family together. Even though Lourdes betrayed Michaela , Michaela would never betray her bc at the end of the day that’s still her bestfriend despite everything that has happened. Not to mention Michaela will always feel guilty being with Jared because of the way it happened, they had to break Lourdes heart to be together and while Jared didn’t care Michaela did. Another thing is Jared always felt like Michaela was obligated to be with him bc she “ ruined ” his life but in reality he did that himself. How tf you gonna move on with the BESTFRIEND idc if you thought she was dead that’s so wrong. With Zeke she feels closer to him because of the callings and her helping him made her fall in love with him. Also , Zeke is a new guy and with him she doesnt have to heal old wounds but with Jared she’s does. Them getting married was a little rushed bc he thought he was going to die but it definitely work out perfectly. Zeke and Michaela balance each other out really well and I’m happy that she found love because she deserves it ! And remember Just bc two people have a history together doesn’t mean they have a future together !

This is amazing! I just began to watch s2 and I've been so unhappy with how they wrote Jared so unlikable and push Michaela towards Zeke. They build Michaela and Jared's story so well in s1 except towards the end and then they ruined it... so unecessary! So glad that there are others who ship these two because their chemistry is amazing, their love story is unqiue and I really hope they will be andgame. Thank you for this wonderful edit!

I'm both teams Zeke and Jared. I love them both. I feel like they have two different connections with Mick. Jared will always care about her. But tbh it's his fault... He lied when she was shot(it was an accident and he knows it) and when she fought for the truth, he acted like the victim. Then he went undercover for her and my heart melted again... Jared is a good guy and a good person. He's made mistakes but they all have.
