I had so many mixed feelings about this, I mean they had so much potential and then the writers just threw all that out of the window. I was like WHAT WAS THE POINT? XD But that would be a very complicated mess since JJ was already with Will and had 2 kids... But at least Reid has Maxine! Tho Maeve would've been the GREATEST match! :D
I think they would have made a great match in the first few seasons but after Henry was born I felt like it was never gonna happen and I really ship maeve and Reid too

I grew up watching CM and I’ve always shipped them. I really wish they had a chance; I personally loved them together.

One thing I wish was changed about criminal minds is when JJ confesses and said she loves Spencer, I wish she said spence instead Reid, because that’s what she’s been calling him ever since and showed their true chemistry.

I wanted Reid leave after Ross wedding, where jj saw much she love Reid song Whitney houston I Always Love You. But writers, producers screw the story line up once again from beginning to end.
People complaining why wait till the last season for their relationship, if we want to argue about “if this happens in real life”, i think it is really really possible for co worker to grow feeling as they spent more time than with their spouse, not that i support affair, im just saying its possible to happen to have feeling later on. In real life sometime we have feeling for two persons and we have to eventually choose, but maybe that feeling for other person never completely gone. In this case with Jeid, JJ chose Will but the feeling for reid remains in her heart.

People are gonna be mad at me but I didn’t like Maeve forever a Jeid shipper tho but should’ve happened in the first season (according to the writer they wanted to see how the character grew from the confession and how they dealt with it) apparently Aj and Matthew were in on it and they had a team meeting and talked to the actors
