I’m replying to a year old thread I know but I think why some people think the actors who play Michaela and Jared have better chemistry is because they’re a couple in real life and have been since this first began which is also fine weird because to me the actor who plays Michaela doesn’t have chemistry with either of the two actors 😭
The reason why they are good for each other is that they both share the same guilt, help each other to reconcile with it, and have been with each other through their calling journey. There is no one gonna understand them better than themselves and that is why it's dumb if they even try to split them.
So glad that they create Zeke character, I am about to drop the series when Lourdes left and Jared and Mick relationship was messed up and toxic. Zeke and Mick's relationship makes the show become much better ;)
At the start I was doubting zeke but I realised that he’s so much better for Mick. She is able to be open and honest with Zeke and trust him and he follows her blindly. Jared did that too but he was so protective and didn’t trust that she can take care of herself. Jared’s a good guy but he’s not the one for Mick. She was always keeping him in the dark and pushing him away and there just always seemed to be drama and a lack of trust in their relationship.
Lets all remember “but I love you dont doubt that” cant wait for season 4 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 J lead Mick to sin they cheated and destroyed a marriage, friendship and each other which Mick said that the last person she dated they destroy each other. That’s the problem with season 3. Not enough zeke and mick. Except for that one rescue mission, there was hardly any heart felt moment. Season 3 lacks good drama unlike season 1-2. I am so done with Jared. I can’t believe they are bringing back triangle love again for season 4?!! I hated Pete and Angelina. Awkward.

She definitely loves zeke, but when she leaned towards zeke, it was easy cause her and jared were in a big complicated disagreement and fight, now that they get along, it's kind of odd. They needs to talk and have closure instead of making out again and destroy another marriage, again.
Yeah. Season 3 barely has a good story for Zeke. It was quite strange as zeke was so important in season 2. I was bored by Angelina / Pete storyline. Olive and TJ were good too but none of that in season 3!!
Is it just me or I find when zeke looks into Mick’s eyes, they look believable and real. His smile is so sweet and true. I sometimes don’t feel Mick is that into him especially in season 3. Mick wanted to save Zeke.
They didnt feel awkward to me at all. To me it felt like they already know each other SO well from the very first moment they met, they already have such a strong connection and similarities, even the wedding didnt feel rushed at all. The lack of interaction in season 3 felt normal to me.
it's good to note that she went on the plane to get away from her life, she loved Jared but had issues that he didn't really understand, no one did really. When she finally convinced herself to accept his proposal, the plane suddenly "lost signal " no coincidence there. The calling and the plane didn't separate Michaela from her life with Jared, she did that all on her own
I sensed something between them from the VERY first second of zeke's appearance. Guess I'm not the only one. Throughout the entirety of season 3 mick's partner makami, beverly, they ALL somehow foreshadow that jared and mick are endgame. I'm still om season 3 ep 9 and istg if amy writer even dares trying to split them, I'm ready to kill. My heart already was halfway done with the show when in season 2 they made it seem like zeke was gone. Man, he really is the heart of the show. I don't hate jared anymore, but michaela-zeke are a better pair from literally every single aspect imaginable. Mick needs to stop getting jealous and jared needs to stop making it awkward.

They will be the end game for sure. In season 4 their love story would be justify. Zeke and mikaela love story has been judge for being in love for a short amount of time. Jared's love for mikaela didn't fade even he got married until mikaela came back. I can say that their relationship comes from this intense feelings but unstable due to some of their personal issues and situation. While zeke and mikaela it's stable, at peace and secured. Not until Zeke slowly feeling that mikaela chose him because he's dying. He thinks that's the only reason she chose him. That's the only insecurity he had in their relationship. But i can sense that in season 4 mikaela will prove to him that she really loves him. I feel that mikaela just felt sorry to jared because she destroyed his marriage and then suddenly she found her happy ending. Then jared left hanging.

If the writers make jared and mick endgame, I will NEVER understand why. Not only 100% of the audience agrees that zeke-mick are endgame, they dont even make sense in any logical way either! It's very sweet that they've always got each other's back, but the only storyline that makes sense for them NOW, is a closure. If they really wanted them to be endgame this bad shouldn’t have had them cheating on their wife/bestie that easily.
